Close to the beautiful lake. Clean and spacious rooms. Good road access for overnight stay. Felt very safe. Really friendly staff. Restaurant very welcoming and very good quality food (one of party was vegetarian; very well catered for)

Quite expensive for use of the pool

We had paid for a more expensive suite with lake view and balcony as a treat to ourselves. Sadly the room was not being ready on time and effectiveness of the check-in staff. The check-in guy was very pleasant and multilingual, which very was good. After 8 hours on the road, we arrived at 14.00, having asked for early check-in, but understood this would be subject to availability. Sadly my wife was feeling ill when we arrived so need the room ASAP, but it was not avails able due to a previous late check-out at 12.30. Although sympathetic and providing water, when I asked if housekeeping could now prioritise the cleaning of our room the reply was "They don't like to be asked". At 15.00, standard check-in time, our room still was not ready and the very pleasant guy stated he had found an identical room on a lower floor, which we gratefully accepted but why was it not offered to us a hour earlier. The room was good, but our view was of very large trees in front of the lake, not the actual lake, but due to my wife's illness we stayed where.
