Grand Hôtel Filippo Strasbourg Nord

Really nice hotel with convenient parking at the front of the hotel. Within walking distance of restaurants and bars. The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were only there for a quick one night stay but would be happy to stay for longer. The breakfast was exceptional.

Exceptional staff & Beautiful facility!

Front room so close to church very early bells. No AC, we had a front room that took a very long time to cool off after the sun set. Ceiling fans would be useful to move air.

Cozy rooms, great view. Picturesque little grand hotel :) Staff were amazingly friendly.

Location and price, but you get what you pay for. Cleaning staff were great.

The air conditioning was simply a table fan they provided - the built-in ventilation system no longer cooled. Our room was facing south-west during a heat wave - 35 to 37°C - so from 3 pm the room was heating up to an uninhabitable level (the volet blinds did not work, other rooms had them - we asked twice for a technician to come, also for two lights burnt out - he did not). The breakfast was the same for four days - nothing special except the Cremant. Hotel was probably grand back in the 70s or 80s but is showing its age (eg, elevator, Internet, cable TV selection and reception...)
