We attended our friends wedding!!! Apart from waiting for our room everything was fine!!!
Possibly closer to our friends but it was a very emotional and lovely experience!!

The location of the hotel is amazing. Super convenient to get there by train from London, lots of nice and affordable restaurants around, as well as great walking/cycling trails. Rooms were clean and spacious, bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated.
SenSpa was underwhelming for the price - the facilities are a bit old, some of the contrast temperature showers were not working, guests are not allowed to use the lockers in the spa (weird). Plus the whole spa is very strangely planned - you have to go up and down the stairs all the time. They didn't let us book SenSpa after 11am on departure day (strange, as guests also get charged for it). The main spa was really crowded and there was never any space to relax on a lounger. Also the receptionist was a bit rude and rushed upon check in, perhaps because there was also a wedding taking place at the same time.

Welcoming and helpful staff, beautiful cozy and elegant rooms, spa facilities great standard, relaxing, peaceful, beautiful corridors, love garden rooms, beautiful eating rooms, ease access to train station and village centre.
Rained a little quickly dried up and brightened. . Space was not available for dinner (busy weekend). Expected a bit more essential oil scent in the crystal steam room

The location is perfect for exploring the New Forest
Beds are extremely uncomfortable!! However the rooms are relaxing . Disappointed having a restricted time in sensa Spa of only 2 hours at a cost!! Also hotel sauna/steam rooms are very small and having to book timings to swim lanes . The gym was definitely a bonus , very well equipped !

I loved the space, the room was very nice and the food very good.
It was so overheated in all communal areas. You ended up in a T shirt in mid winter.

Exterior of building is lovely and staff were very friendly and attentive. Food in both restaurants was delicious. Staff who gave Thai massage treatments were lovely and very professional and made you feel at ease.
Some of interior of hotel and room we stayed in were not as nice as was expecting for the price. Also spa /swimming pool was all a bit underwhelming.

Thought our stay was quite overpriced.
We didn’t like that you can’t use the changing rooms in the SenSpa they ask you to use your hotel room as the your changing room etc.
We paid the extra £40pp to be able to use the hydro pools and extra facilities in the SenSpa- we were the last people in the pool area but didn’t like the fact someone came to remind us 10 minutes before closing that the facilities close at 8, we were aware of this and felt it was unnecessary pushy, if you pay for the 2 hours you should get the full 2 hours. It didn’t quite feel like the luxury experience we were hoping for.
Also could do with more parking spaces, limited for the size of the hotel. We struggled getting parked both days of our stay
