Close to Heathrow and clean and well mannered staff and helpful too

Lovely clean hotel, very welcoming

The breakfast wasn't the best

The immaculately clean hotel astonished me - everywhere I went was clean. The staff were skilled, friendly, and knowledgable. They looked me in the eye and smiled. They realised without being told that I am almost completely deaf and need to Iip. The lady on reception was ready to write down difficult to hear words, which I have never before experienced. The security guys in the car park -good to see by the way, courteous and helpful. My immaculate room was perfect - someone else might have wished for a phone charger socket, but I was ok. In short, it was above and way beyond my expectations in every regard respect excepting the food in the bar.

The food in the bar was disgusting. I have worked my whole career working in and managing food factories making retail and commercial products for retail and trade. My test item when I arrived was a children’s Cod Goujons and chips. It was disgusting and probably dangerous. The tasted chemical and had been cold when the goujons went in, so fish was full of old foul tasting oil. I cannot imagine how the chips were either burnt black or raw. Breakfast was ok for 0630. Tomatoes were not cooked through, the toasters weren’t toasting but it got me going and I was happy to call it quits in the light of the excellence elsewhere and I realise you must have unimaginable staffing problems

It was clean and the facilities were modern

My room was directly above the nightclub thing they’ve got right outside. Music didn’t stop until the early hours. Parking at the hotel is terrible, so had to use local roads to park overnight
