Staff friendly and accommodating. Hotel clean, food excellent and wonderful breakfast choice. Location very central within walking distance to restaurants, shops and services. Highly recommend. We’d stay again.

Only small thing would be the pillow, too high and firm. We would have liked an alternative.

The staff is very nicer, from the cleaners to the reception to the bar staff. The bar has access from the pool which is a great bonus It was lovely and quiet.

Quiet end of Chaweng, staff always happy & friendly. The pool & beach well maintained with a shout out to the security beach guard who is amazing maintaining the cleanliness of the beach & taking his job very seriously. Asset to the hotel, happy man.

Food & cocktails were disappointing! Cocktails premixed sugary slushy disasters. Breakfast was just average, we ate in the restaurant once & room service another night would say just average. Catering side could definitely do with an overhaul.

The room was really good and spacious especially once we upgraded to the room with the swim up pool - that was the highlight.

I didn’t think it was a 5 star hotel personally, last year I stayed at the sala next door and there was no comparison at all, especially considering the price difference isn’t that big. The breakfast was a 4/10 maximum and comparing to the sala again it’s just no comparison. The staff were lovely but we have the feeling everything is being done on the cheap whilst charging high prices for what you get. Also everything felt a little dated, there was no wow factor or even a nice personal touch like I’ve had at every other 5 star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I think if the price was say £100 a night cheaper then it would be more acceptable for value for money but this is hugely overpriced especially for the breakfast, I’ve had better breakfasts at 3 star hotels on smaller islands in Thailand. I can’t complain at all about the staff they were lovely but I just feel like the price structure needs looked at as there was hardly any other guests at the hotel at all so if it was cheaper then maybe more would come and create a better vibe as it was pretty vibe-less. Big shout to the security guy round the pool as he was very helpful and a true gentleman always with a big smile on his face. Overall even though the room with the pool was a highlight the overall experience at the hotel was average at best and we would never come back unfortunately. I’ve came to Koh Samui 5 years in a row and this hotel was the worst we’ve stayed whilst also being the 2nd most expensive. Sorry to be negative as I don’t like to be but I think it’s more constructive criticism as it has a lot of potential to be a really good hotel to stay with a bit more effort placed in to it. Thanks.
