Being charged for the carpark. This will likely stop me coming back.

Fantastic value, great location (very quiet, surrounded by green yet 5mins walk from high street), good breakfast (enough variety), lovely staff, family run historic hotel (with character instead of soulless chain hotel), good internet, parking, 20mins walk to train station, many different shared areas to sit, eat or drink (outside garden and inside), the room had everything you may need (incl iron and ironing board, hairdryer, fan, TV, kettle and tea etc). I will definitely stay again.
room furnishings could be slightly updated, and i heard thats exactly what they are slowly doing, which will be great when completed. That said, the furniture is solid good quality wood.

Staff friendly, room
V dated but good value.
Pot of tea took ages & cost £5:60 no biscuits just seemed a lot for breakfast tea.
