a little far out of town. many long term residents

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of cereals, hot cooked food and breads. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Dining room was nice and spacious.
The room was lovely and a complimentary bottle of wine was left in our room as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Nice touch. Thank you. My only complaint was the heavy duvet and cover, we found it difficut to pull around you and not very soft especially on the large bed. The mattress was also very firm. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay and all the staff were exceptional and so pleasant especially at reception. Thank you all.

All went really well.

Staff
The water temperature was scalding and difficult to control. There should be a thermostat fitted to prevent this. The ceiling was a strange shape with eaves reaching the floor. Table and chairs were positioned in a recess such that head contacting ceiling was compulsory!
