Kids friendly environment and facility. It was our first family trip with 1 year old baby, and everything about this hotel was fantastic.

Wish breakfast time was longer

Spacious rooms, and the grounds with the French Gardens were spectacular. I feed the deer multiple times at the little petting zoo, and enjoyed it immensely. close to the entrance to Odaesan National Park and located in a secluded valley.

Sadly the pool was not open, no water. Some road construction nearby with accompanying noises…starting at 0700.

- Super clean rooms, - Excellent breakfast taking into account the eating habits of foreigners as well. So you will not have Korean breakfast option only.

-Kensington is not a ski hotel and unfortunately there is no shuttle service between the hotel and the ski resort. So if you are staying in Kensington for skiing and did not drive here, one way taxi ride to Alpensia will cost you circa 20K wons and more than 25K wons for Yong-Pyeong. - If you do not get the buffet dinner which is 100K, your only options are burger, pizza, fried chicken, pasta and steak, one option for each except for pasta which I guess had 2 options. - We were staying in 3 rooms on 2 different floors and 1 room in each floor did not have hot water at nights and early in the morning. Do not know why but you might not be able to take a shower as you wish. - They start playing music in the garden at 7:30am every morning. It does not matter which floor you stay since it is so loud and wakes you up.

I didn’t like the room! they didn’t clean it well, especially the bathroom. buffet breakfast food is not good. and the set up is terrible. I didn’t like that there were so many insects! it was scary the whole time coz we stayed there with our 8months old baby.

Recreational areas around hotel were nice (gardens, animal farm)

Bed was hard as a rock, not comfortable at all, when I asked for a better they said they only had that type of bed available. Asked for sheets to be changed and "new" sheets had damage and stained, when manager came to change the "new and clean" ones ALSO had stains, when changing again the next set of sheets had HAIRS on them!! After this the next set wasnt even a double bed size, apparently they didnt have any more... so we ended up with TWO single bed sheets... HORRIBLE experience, never in my life had this on a 5 star hotel. Also, hotel is in the middle of the mountain, remote location, has two restaurants but doesnt even offer room service... especially with the pandemic

the view was not that good that i expect

The garden is beautiful, the room wasn't bad, spacious, with a nice comfortable bed. It had some dust and spider cobwebs here and there. Bed is comfortable but the balcony was completely dirty without any chairs and completely ignored by the cleaning staff.

Balcony completely dirty, no chairs, or table. It's completely ignored by the cleaning staff. What's the point of the balcony then? Completely unacceptable. Swimming pools were partially closed due to corona. Indoor pool works but outdoor pool wasn't working even in scorching heat due to "hotel policy". Buffet breakfast was canceled and offered just a regular simple breakfast even the hefty price. Hotel restaurant is mediocre, the other one is closed. Staff often clueless when you ask something.
