B&B The Posthoorn Amsterdam

Location is superb - picturesque outlook and in the heart of Jordaan, a lovely district with a great vibe yet still only a short walk from the city centre. The room we had was really comfortable but the real star of the show was Francois, our host, who could not have done more to make us welcome including providing me with oat milk and vegan-friendly breakfasts.

The shower room was a little on the tight side for my hubby, but that's part and parcel of staying in an authentic and quirky canal-side B&B. And would certainly not deter us from staying again.

During our travels, we’ve had the pleasure of meeting wonderful hosts and lovely people. This time, we struck gold! Francois was a fantastic host and the most kind person. He shared some truly amazing insights about the city and also prepared the most delicious breakfast! The room was incredibly cosy and spotless, and the view of the canal was truly unforgettable. This lovely historic building is in a fantastic spot, peaceful and charming, with everything you need just a short walk away. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it for a truly memorable stay.
