Lovely place in a lovely village close to Burton on the water. Bit of a hike if you’re walking but just a short drive. Staff was friendly and helpful and food was very good.

I am a sucker for historic places and you can feel the age on the place as you walk through the building. The floor of our room had a slight incline which gave it character and was a nod to the time is was built when measurements and accuracy weren’t essential as long as it housed people. The longe/dining area was beautiful and well decorated, it was a touch of class in a very rural setting. Breakfast was satisfactory, we didn’t get anything hot but the continental was good. Staff were brilliant and very friendly with a real willingness to help
When me and my partner were going to bed we could hear people laughing and joking in the bar below, I read that the bar would close about 10:30 but it was well after 11 when we went to bed which kept us up a bit longer than we would have desired. Much of the applications on the smart tv in the room were unusable but to be fair we later learned much of the Cotswolds has connectivity issues so that’s understandable

We loved the character and charm of The Lamb Inn. It had a really warm, traditional Cotswolds feel and was set in a beautiful, peaceful village. Our room was comfortable and clean, the food was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was also a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

The parking was ok, the bar and restaurant was a great traditional pub feel. The fan in the room was appreciated. The man who checked me in was great, Ben I think his name was, good service.
I stayed here so I could use the electric charging overnight, this wasn’t possible as only one charger was operating and it was already in use. Two were blocked off with a skip in the way. No advanced warning of this. The bathroom smelt fusty and mouldy and made it feel unclean. There was no where to hang a hand towel or hang towels anywhere.
