Not very child friendly

Genuinely felt like a true all-inclusive. Food was available 24 hours, so even at 2am we could grab something from the buffet! All of the staff were fantastic and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble, including changing our room when we weren’t happy with the original one. Cocktails were made fresh to order and were top quality. No cheap pre-made mixes! Loved that the crepe station was open until midnight and the champagne and sushi bar was an amazing touch. The à la carte restaurants were also amazing with the bonus of being able to use one every day. Main pool was great, with music and really comfortable padded loungers. Plenty to do on site and a great location for getting into the nearby towns. Overall, a fantastic stay. Five-star service, amazing staff and great attention to detail. We would definitely return!

The only downside was the 4am - 7am continental breakfast. It was basically just bread, so a few pastries, meats and cheeses would have been much better.

The location and facilities are superb. The food was excellent in the buffet restaurant as well as in the a la carte restaurants. I would suggest booking seats for the Ala carte restaurants as early as possible. All the pools are beautiful, and the pool and beach areas were always tidy. The staff at the bars are all super friendly, and that is saying something because they are worked off their feet all day.

The bar and restaurant staff were all superb, but we found the front desk and concierge staff much more formal, not as friendly and sometimes inefficient. Whenever we paid for any extras, we had to pay for each item individually. This included local taxes, laundry, etc. I've never experienced that at a hotel before, usually the charges all go on the room and you make one payment at the end. But at Mitsis I was constantly making individual payments. Our group was organising a number of events/excursions with the concierge team, and sometimes the attention to detail was not great.

The building external and internal reception areas are stunning.

We have visited 6 times now, we booked 12 months in advance, booking.com put us directly in touch with the hotel to discuss our room preference, we had numerous conversations with them, then on arrival they allocated us a room overlooking the car park miles away from the area we had agreed, their excuse was… you should have booked directly instead of going through booking.com, we eventually received a better room in the we had specified but by now we were both so upset by their attitude that it spoiled our holiday. Having been to this hotel many times we were very disappointed at the main dining room food and also the guest bathrooms are ready for renovations.
