Structure too expensive for what it offers. For lunch an open sandwich...if you ask for a box lunch, having paid full boardthey, want to charge you extra. They want to charge you for safari drinks: unheard of! Booked excursion at 6 a.m. and the guide arrived 40 minutes late

The staff and facility far exceeded our expectations. The lodge is more than willing to accommodate any requirements that we requested.

Location on shores of lake near St. Lucia.
Dated bedrooms which needed an upgrade. Game drives were poor and excursions were very poor value.

easy to reach, even without a 4wd, after the heavy rains the days before there was a lot more water than expected, but everything was green and nature was exploding. A birders paradise, but you see a lot more animals and plants. The excursion/game drives were just great, we did book them at the lodge, but we took every chance to go out with Hayden, to see the huge biodiversity of iSimangaliso. Great to hang loose at the pool area, but hard to make a nap, so much to hear and see. Food is very good and the location the best in iSimangaliso, very relaxed atmosphere.

One of the best places we have ever stayed and we have travelled the world. Excellent staff, customer services. Everything from start to finish was exceptional.
The rooms were spotless and meals if such high quality.

The food was delicious, thanks to Nadia for catering to my dietary requirements. The drives & outings with Jaco were fun, varied & informative. Especially the birds. A Beautiful lodge, very tranquil surroundings.

All the food was very delicious and good portions, not too much, but all very tasty .
The rooms are lovely and have all you need for a relaxing time ,
The staff were amazing, and Jaco the tour operator was fantastic, informative, humorous and really accomodating.
