Authentic Tavira Hotel

Decor, location, large room, large comfy beds, competitive bar prices, helpful smiling staff, daily fresh made cakes, complimentary water n wine, hot eggs at breakfast. View of old town from pool area on 3rd floor.

No tea making facility in room. No handrail on stairs. Steep high step into and out of pool. Pool area needs some moveable seating to enable groups to sit together.

The staff were lovely, they really did go 100% to ensure you had a lovely stay. I would say this is - boutique style hotel , lovely reception ,breakfast and bar area ,beautifully decorated with quality furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. Roof top area with small pool was lovely and peaceful and you were provided with pool towels or beach towels if you needed them. The sun loungers don’t have parasols but the sofas are all under canopies . The hotel is close to all restaurants and bars but you can have a night cap at the hotel, they have a good selection of drinks on offer . Overall this is a lovely hotel ideally situated in the lively town of Tavira.

Not we didn’t like but more lighting in the bathroom, it was difficult when doing hair and make up

Very clean, good size room and shower excellent. Comfortable beds,hotel modern and tastefully decorated, lovely plunge pool and sun Ed area on the roof with towels provided and beach towels also available if needed. Breakfast was good with cold meats, cheese and very creamy yogurt and muesli and fresh fruit, eggs cooked for you anyway you liked. Excellent coffee machine. Cakes and fresh fruit available throughout the day. Staff very friendly and helpful.

A little more light in bathroom for putting on your make up.

Well situated in Tavira.

Lack of drink facilities. You couldn’t have a hot drink in the morning before 0800hrs. No facilities in the room and to connect to the wi-fi you needed to have the television switched on. No staff available between 0001hrs - 0800hrs. In fact much of the time there wasn’t anyone on reception. No real bar facilities especially around the pool.
