The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very good everything in there i needed. Didn't eat in the restaurant as met friends id come to see. 1966 was my first visit to Newquay seasonal work Forever Young. K

Location is good , a nice walk into town to the main amenities .

In the afternoon the receptionist was having to check in guests and also serve in the bar so when there were a number of people waiting to check in it was a bit frustrating . But she did her best to keep things going ! I understand its probably not worth employing a bar person during the afternoons .

Great location for local beaches and town Spacious room

We found staff on arrival weren't friendly, no welcome smiles at all or stay information offered. Pool is nice but could do with a clean, pool and changing facilities are quite tired. Outdoor pool is freezing. Room was spacious however the bed was very hard and the pillows are in desperate need of replacing. Bathroom is fine but we had to slam the door quite firmly to get it to close which then caused a continuous knocking sound due to the fan being on as no air con. Lots of dust in and around light fixings. Towels had some stains. Although the location is great and the pool facilities are ok I do think the price is quite steep per night, especially as parking is charged even though it's for guests only.
