Le Moulin d'Hys

Hôtesse très accueillante, petit déjeuner très bon, endroit calme et agréable

The evening meal provided for us on arrival was excellent and good value. The host was very attentive and the bedroom and lounge area were lovely.

Not much head height in the shower but we managed!

Everything about this gite was above and beyond my expectations. The location was so calm, tranquil, and the grounds were stunning with so many lovely places to sit and enjoy the views. The spaces were very private and well thought out, many details unusual to a gite in France, and the host, Isabele, was extremely thoughtful and caring. I am SO glad that I asked to add-on dinner. Isabele is a CHEF! Informally trained or not, her five-course meal with drinks was one of the best I have had in France. And I have lived here part-time for 8 years! Breakfast was a perfect start to the day. I loved the entire experience. Absolutely would come back again.

I would say that these are just good things to know. I loved everything. But I wish there had been a hairdryer in my room, but I got the chance to air dry my hair for a change, so it was nice. But I would have been a bit upset if I did not have a hairdryer for many days. I also have back problems and the bed was a bit stiff, but that has nothing to do with the gite and everything to do with my poor back!

The room and bathroom and the surroundings.

There was nothing I didn't like.
