Location and value great.
Booked 17 adults. Can't specify on booking.com male or female. I had messaged to confirm 17 male and had a confirmation acknowledgement. Ended up with 2 guys on the floor in our 2 rooms. Careful though as while I was there people turning up to canceled accommodation.

Have stayed here a few times and has a fair bit going for it. The location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the centre and it's a lively area in its own right. Facilities are good and staff are very helpful. Decent enough bar and can be a good place to meet people...
The biggest drawback are the upstairs bunks in the dorms as the pipe-like ladders are uncomfortable and not very practical for getting up and down. Also, the locks on the bathrooms have always been a bit 'iffy' and can jam when you're inside but never seem to be replaced or upgraded. One other change, this time, is that the kitchen no longer seems to be a common area and has been monitised for a paid breakfast, instead...

The hostel was clean. I liked the location. It was at a walkable distance to most tourist places as well the supermarkets, etc. One of the staff, Victor, was friendly and helpful but the lady who sits at the reception in the evening is somewhat rude and rigid.
The beds did not have any source of privacy like curtains. There was no stool or table in the room. Just beds. A small stool sort of thing should be kept for convenience. No dustbin in the room, only one bin for the bathroom. Also, a full size mirror in the room is a must addition. After all, it was a female dorm. The hostel only provides breakfast. No other meals which is a little inconvenient. No fun activities or events from the hostel's end.

"Stanze pulite, anche il bagno. In due sere ho avuto solo 3 roommate alla fine. Tanti servizi all'interno, wifi buono, prese elettriche vicino il letto"
