Very nicely renovated and presented, the onsen and sauna were great - the onsen switches male and female each day and I was glad to have the chance to try both sides, especially as the sauna is on one side only. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Thoughtful touches like free drinks vending and games were nice. It’s a pleasant walk to Yubatake and Sainokawara if you don’t mind the hill.
The staff were very nice when we interacted with them, we didn’t mind but staff presence is quite minimal - check in and out is largely automated. Strangely only the toilets downstairs and near the lounge are not much renovated and look their age.

Hotel staff were very polite. Breakfast was delicious.
Bathroom and toilet is not that clean, public bath place needs to be cleaned and maintained properly.
