The Nueces River Retreat - Room #4
Questa proprietà è stata gestita come un piccolo motel per 50 anni da mia nonna, commercializzata come "il paradiso dei cacciatori". Alcune camere sono ora disponibili per date selezionate. Non c'è niente di speciale in questa stanza - non c'è la TV o servizi internet. Si compone di due letti matrimoniali, un bagno e un frigorifero. Di recente ha iniziato un "lifting", con nuove vernici e tende oscuranti, e ne incontreremo presto altre! Siamo vicino al fiume Nueces, dove si può praticare la pesca e il nuoto. Ci sono diversi ristoranti in città tra cui Angel Wings e The Chicken Coop.

We were only there to sleep. The beds were comfortable. This was the boys room. No complaints. Plenty of room to move around in.

My wife and I stayed the weekend for a family reunion in Camp Wood. The property was clean and comfortable. The room is larger than the hotel rooms in the area. It is a nice, clean place and fit our needs perfectly. We did not receive our room information before check in because we did not have cell service. We went to the coffee shop at the location and the young lady working there was more than helpful. She was able to message the owner and get the information for us. Again it was not the owners fault but poor cell service that was the issue. I would definitely stay there again.

If you want secluded and isolated this is the place. There is really nothing around. We stayed here because it was "close" to the river we were going to float. There is a little town about 5 miles away to get something to eat. The room I had was just a few feet from the main road. It was a bit noisy.
