Sunset Beach Club Tropea

Great location, very clean and great staff. Outstanding breakfast not a buffet your served at your table in the restaurant with a sea view. Great beach.

É fácil encontrar vagas gratuitas para estacionar o carro na Lungomare em frente ao hotel se você chegar no final da tarde (as vagas pagas - strisce blu - são caras em Tropea). O quarto era amplo, o chuveiro era ótimo, e o café da manhã (à la carte) tinha boas opções. A comodidade de ter espreguiçadeiras e ombrellone incluídos no valor da diária justificou perfeitamente a escolha do beach club em vez de um hotel na parte alta da cidade. A praia é linda, e o pôr do sol no hotel é memorável. Recomendo também o restaurante, que me pareceu ser um dos melhores da praia.

As toalhas de banho e de rosto não têm um padrão condizente com o hotel, são finas e tinham a aparência de que já foram muito usadas. A equipe se manteve no limite da educação, mas não é especialmente gentil: em nenhum momento perguntaram se estávamos satisfeitos, se queríamos ajuda com algo (mesmo com informação sobre a cidade ou passeios) nem nos ofereceram qualquer cortesia inesperada. O procedimento mais antipático do hotel, sem dúvida, é o fato de a primeira fila de espreguiçadeiras ficar reservada a pessoas que não são hóspedes e que pagam para usá-las. Os hóspedes ficam restritos à segunda ou à terceira fila de espreguiçadeiras mesmo que haja lugares disponíveis na primeira, o que é bizarro quando se pensa na ideia de hospitalidade. Por ser à la carte e por haver, em regra, só um funcionário para atender todas as mesas, o serviço do café da manhã era demorado. Reserve pelo menos 45 minutos se quiser tomar um bom café da manhã. Por fim, em uma das noites houve uma festa de aniversário que terminou cerca de 1 hora da manhã. Não nos incomodou, mas recomendo que você se informe sobre festas no hotel antes de fazer a sua reserva se você tiver planos de acordar cedo.

Right on the beach and restaurant and bar overlooking the beach. I don't usually eat at the hotels I stay at but it would be a mistake not to eat at this one. Not only was the staff overly friendly but the food was exceptional - it equaled any other restaurant I had visited! There is nothing I could offer to improve my stay there. If you like clean, it was very clean. Great water pressure and exceptional shower heads. I checked in at 1:30 am, notified them on the way (I found in Italy this is really necessary), I provided my info, and the night watchman was there to happily greet and assist me.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

The location is excellent. It is located directly behind a fantastic beach club called Sun Beach Club Tropea. This beach club has a fantastic restaraunt and pizzeria with awesome staff. There are also umbrellas and chairs available for rent. The AC in the room worked well.

The room itself was disappointing. The double bed was just two single mattresses side by side. The bathroom was tiny with only a shower curtain to isolate the shower. There were ants living in the walls and we saw them frequently by our front door. The parking lot is tiny and often over crowded. The staff do not control the parking sufficiently to ensure all vehicles can fit. There was often a car parked behind ours, and it was always difficult to puzzle our vehicle into the lot, taking up time and risking damage to the vehicle.
