We booked a whirlpool room on the all inclusive plan. In the pictures on this website and lagoon attitude's you see a large square balcony with 270 degree views of the sea. However, we were given a room with a completely different balcony - see attached pictures. The hotel has 10 whirlpool rooms. Only 1 room actually has this spacious balcony. The other 9 rooms have a smaller rectangular shaped one. Apparently, this room was unavailable during our stay as they were updating the whirlpool! Room is not kept to a good standard and cleaning is poor. The bedding is very old and the pillows smell of damp. When you have a shower the water floods out of the bottom as there is no seal. We found it very difficult to book any of the other restaurants. After speaking to several staff we were able to book dinner at Coral. The Asian restaurant Lemongrass was fully booked for one week. The mini bar - I have never stayed in a hotel that requires you to fill your own mini bar! I found it extremely inconvenient to have to do this every day. QR codes - This hotel has a menu phobia and requires you to scan the code to look at the menu for the bars and restaurants on your phone. Oh, except for the wine list, which they are very happy to give you to spend extra money!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and have no regrets! The food was really nice, lovely choice of restaurants and the buffet set up ran like a well oiled machine with lots of variety, plenty of clear allergen information and good stations where the chef prepared your food. The staff's customer service is of a really high standard, everyone is approachable and helpful and such a pleasure to be around. The resort enviorment definitely had an eco / botanical feel which made it very easy for us to feel instantly realxed and dettached from everyday stresses!

The resort dogs of which there are many. If you're a dog person like many people are this won't be an issue for you. If you're not a dog person you can still rest assured the dogs are well trained and don't bother you unless you want them to. However having dogs drooling staring by you whilst you eat a snack was the only thing that bothered us a little during this stay. The gym is really outdated compared to a few other resorts on the island, this is a fussy point for the select few who like to train whilst away!

Check in process was great, a nice welcome with drinks and tour of the site provided. The staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable. We booked for half board, the breakfast was good with a wide range of options. For dinner, we had a gala dinner buffet on one of the days, there were good variety of food but the quality was alright, not amazing. For another night we booked Kot Nou restaurant on site, which was a la carte, which we found was much better quality food. There's a choice of 3 restaurants you can pre book for a la carte. There is evening entertainment also from around 8/9pm which was very good. The 3 swimming pools on site were great, a different vibe at each one. Overall, an eco-sustainable theme the resort has, which was nice.

There is a boat house with different water activities included in the stay. However, due to weather (cyclone which was coming in a few days) they were not running any of them, such as the glass bottom boat tour/ snorkelling, kayaking. The private beach was very small, compared to other resorts (if you're more of a beach person).

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility was very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was varied and good. The pool is adequate and the view is beautiful. In terms of location, there is always a taxi at the door, and when you say where you want to go, the employees guide you in every way. We were very satisfied. Everything was top quality

Das Liegen trotz Hinweis ( Handtücher werden vor 10 Uhr vom Personal entfernt) reserviert wurden ( Handtücher wurden nicht entfernt und einige Frühaufsteher reservierten bereits um 7 Uhr „ ihre Liege“ - ohne Worte! Das Team vom Boathouse schien ziemlich genervt zu sein. Nicht sehr freundlich, in allen anderen Bereichen aber top! Die ausliegenden Bildbände sind schön, aber sie sollten bitte ausgetauscht werden, denn sie riechen etwas sehr modrig.. Das männliche Personal im Empfang war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, bitte aber auch auf die Körperhygiene achten (Deo….)

Plage très petite. Ayant réservé une chambre front sea view on s’est retrouvés face a la piscine et travaux avec une très petite vue de côté sur la plage. nous avons demandé à changer de chambre à la jeune stagiaire qui nous y avait emmenés et elle nous a dit qu’elle allait demander à la direction et revenir 10 minutes après pour nous dire ce que nous ferions. Après avoir patienté deux heures à la piscine sans que ce soit vienne nous voir, j’ai rappelé, Mr Rajah , le directeur qui nous as dit qu’aucune chambre n’était disponible car l’hôtel était complet. Je lui ai alors demandé un discount, mais il a refusé. Finalement, plus de deux heures après notre arrivée, l’un de ses adjoints, Kevin, aux demeurant charmant, est arrivé en nous disant qu’il avait trouvé une chambre avec une meilleure vue mais comme il était très tard, et que ma femme était fatiguée, ayant finalement déballer nos affaires dans la chambre après deux heures d’attente, Nous l’avons remercié pour sa gentillesse mais avons décliné. Il nous a d’ailleurs proposé un late check Out pour nous dédommager. Mais malheureusement nous devions partir tôt et nous ne pouvions en profiter. Donc expérience mitigée, malgré la gentillesse de Kevin, qui a été prévenu par le directeur plus de deux heures après .

The staff members were so friendly, Karin and Lisa were so welcoming and helpful on the front desk. All the staff in the Kot Nou restaurant, the Coral restaurant and on the bars were amazing and a special shout out to the young man who was running the coral bar who’s name I can’t remember (he has been working there for 7 months). The water sports team went above and beyond and one staff member helped me learn to windsurf. The food was outstanding in all aspects and the place is beautifully designed. The coral meal was extra special.

The hotel cannot do anything about this but it is challenging to get anywhere from the property without a car but that’s obvious from looking at the map. It was also very windy on the beach which the hotel.
