The pictures do not do the property justice! Quinta de Fiaes is set in a gorgeous location and the property is beautiful. The apartment was very spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. However, what really sets Quinta de Fiaes apart is the hospitality and graciousness of the owners. Guests’ comfort is clearly paramount and we felt so welcomed and cared for. The meals were amazing as was the wine! I could not recommend this stay highly enough!

Incredible place. All the family was so friendly, it made our stay unforgettable. it’s a bit far from Pinhao (about 40min drive), but it’s well worth it! Homemade dinner for 25€/pers. was really good!

Magnificent landscape and authentic rural environment

The room was outstanding. The food was a wonderful experience of local, home cooking by the matron of the home. The setting, a farm and active vineyard, was incredible. The views were spectacular. The host family was welcoming and helpful. Such a nice family. I highly recommend.

I cannot think of a thing the family could have done better. If it is possible, at times, I felt almost too well served, as we do not come from that class of people. They treated us like royalty. Their work is a wonderful testament to the dream of their father who has passed.

The staff are just incredible. A family that is just so welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening meals. And their own wine..

Quiet, clean and family owned. This property is created and maintained very well with lots of passion. We’ve received lots of good tips from the owner where to go and what to do. It is not far from everywhere and a nice drive along the way- lots of beautiful sceneries.

The Quinta is set in a stunning and tranquil location overlooking the Pinhão river valley. it is ideally located for trips in the Douro valley with plentiful vineyards and other places of interest to explore. The hosts Bruno and Annamaria are charming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. Highly recommended.

Feels like home. Overwhelming friendly staff. Nice view over wineyards. quite relaxing area. well prepared sightseeing route options if you have no clue what to do in the area. Nice Pool. Great local dinner menu, needs to be preordered until 05.30.

Breakfast was served every morning and gave the opportunity to have a heavy breakfast to start the day or you could make it as light as you wanted it was up to you

I did not like that at the end of my stay I had to go back home

The location is beautiful and the hosts are everything you could expect. I had dinner at the Quinta both nights and it was very good. The overall atmosphere is really nice. And the bathroom was amazing.

The room door had some issues when unlocking from the jnside, I actually didn't lock it the second night as the place was perfectly safe.

I really, really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it t anyone looking for an authentic experience. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Loved the family atmosphere. It was a very tranquil and secluded place that really gave us an authentic experience in the Douro Valley. Loved hiking down to the river on the property with the dogs and the views all around were fantastic.

The bathroom could have had better lighting, it was a bit too dim. Otherwise everything was really great.

Bruno and his family are exceptional hosts, they care for their guests like family. I had booked for two rooms but on arrival we were shown to a huge villa as they said this would be more comfortable for our four nights. Each evening meal was amazing, (our choice of either meat or fish as main course), four courses and great estate wine. I celebrated my birthday during my stay and the family went all out to make the evening special( I said I loved shellfish) and they presented me with a seafood platter, with clams, crab, prawns and goose barnacles. To follow a birthday cake with candles and the family singing happy birthday in Portuguese. Such a memorable occasion after two lock down birthdays it was very special. The villas are spacious and well decorated, comfortable memory foam mattress with huge modern bathrooms, no problem with hot water or Wi-Fi.

Too many dogs running around, about 6 in total, which are locked in at night but on one occasion there was barking in the middle of the night which annoyed my friend.

Bruno and his family have a beautiful estate and the hospitality was some of the best I have experienced at any property around the world. It's a functioning winery so expect loads of wine and the estate's owner sure knows how to cook, make sure to enjoy one of the family dinners.

Quaint mix of rural home and upscale amenities, nicely combined in a quiet and pastoral setting. Loved the dining area and the pool area with green grass was a nice touch. Loved the puppies!

Nothing. It was as expected, something out of the way, but very comfortable and peaceful.

The hosts speak excellent english and are charming, genuinely seem to really enjoy what they do and relish having guests.

I'm afraid the food was disappointing. The breakfast food was particularly basic, and much of what we ate we felt came out of a packet - not 'home cooked' in the way we expected. The veal seemed very much like pre-carved slices out of a packet, and the tapas was also very much of standard supermarket quality. The food was overall quite expensive so we were a bit surprised, given the amazing reviews.

The quinta is owned by a super friendly family, who did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The whole quinta looks very beutiful and provides an awesome view.
