Good breakfast. Free parking outside the hotel (if not arriving during rush hours). Great location, if you are walkers. Lots of choices for dinners outside the hotel. Really like that the shower, sink, and toilet are in separate areas. Cute decor.
Did not like the $15/night charge for the car's parking. But, fortunately, when we arrived we could park on the street for free and had a spot closer to the hotel!

You get what you pay for, bed, shower, good location.
The man behind the bar on the evening of Saturday 01/08, the young blonde girl working in the day on the 3rd and the man training a new staff member this same day were all very welcoming and deserve a pay rise
Had issues with some of the staff, we had travelled from the UK and it seemed some of the staff really just didn’t want to help us. One occasion in particular, we tried to buy a Brest souvenir on the 3rd and the brunette girl working behind the bar told us that they aren’t for sale and that “nothing works anymore” she clearly either has no idea how to do her job or just doesn’t want to help tourists, as when I tried again later in the day with a different staff member, he was more than happy to help
