Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed. We brought stuff that we didn’t even need to unpack because the house was so well stocked. We really appreciated the labels everywhere, too! The beach pass was great, as well as all the beach supplies. We used the umbrella, chairs, beach towels and wagon to transport all. Thank you for setting up such a beautiful home to share!

We spent 4 nights in this cute little house. Our kids are 5 and 11. We enjoyed the proximity to Ocean Beach park and the included beach pass was a real nice add on to our stay. The house was fully stocked with all we needed to enjoy our week. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed eating on the back deck in the evening. Check out Waterford Town Beach while you're there, its a beautiful area. We hope to come back another time Bill and Dorothy. Thank you for sharing your home.

The house was clean and neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen had every cooking utensil, dishes, pans, etc that we could ever need. The convenience to the beach was perfect especially when our two little grandchildren (4 and 5) joined us for 2 days. It was a perfect vacation!!

When we first entered this property, we knew we made a great choice! This house is close to Mystic, Niantic and Old Saybrook. After a few days, our daughter, son-in-law and their two young boys joined us for 3 nights. Restaurants they recommended were great. We would recommend this Connecticut destination!

This is the perfect beach cottage get away. There was plenty of space for my family. We didn’t have a chance to cook but the kitchen was beautiful and the entire property was exactly as pictured. Even, The lawn and flowers on the exterior were very well cared for. We went to ocean beach, as the owners provide a free pass. We had a good time but I might try the other beach if you are looking for something less crowded. We were also pleasantly surprised by the close proximity to mystic. We were happy with our stay and would recommend this property !

Bill & Dorothy have truly outdone themselves, preparing a vacation rental that has it all. Bath- more towels and facecloths than you would ever need. Cute lil bath mats, toilet paper, first aid kit, blow dryer, body wash, shampoo & conditioner, Dixie cups, toothpaste, hand soap. Kitchen- Pots & pans, plenty of dish-ware, cooking utensils, spices, dish soap, sponge, coffee & drip Cuisinart, foil, ziplocs, etc paper towels, cleaning supplies, so much more Laundry- soap & dryer sheets Bedrooms- comfy beds, plenty of pillows, blankets, sheets, space for clothes Living room. Smart tv, Bluetooth speakers, for your music, pull out couch There is ac and remote ceiling fans in every room. (VERY COMFORTABLE!) Outside-There is a patio with grill, and gas. seating with umbrella. Parking. Beach items- beach cart, plenty of towels, lots of chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, and a really nice cooler. I think I’ve covered most amenities. I know it’s a long list, but that is exactly why I wanted the list in my review. It’s rare that a vacation rental is so well appointed. This place is a gem! Impeccably decorated, extremely clean, walking distance to beaches, ( FREE Ocean Park beach parking pass included), close proximity to many attractions. We did the lighthouse ferry tour in New London. Communication with the hosts was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this charming getaway home.

Wonderful property, as described. It has everything you need (kitchenwares, extra blankets/pillows, beach stuff etc). Enough space for 2 adults/2 teen boys. Very clean. Super close to Ocean & Waterford beaches (the use of the Ocean Beach pass worked perfectly).

We had an amazing time at Dorothy and Bill’s property. The location was perfect for exploring the greater Mystic area with our two and three-year-old children. We had a beautiful days at both Ocean Beach and Waterford beach. I grew up in central CT (but now live in New Jersey) and never even knew either of these beaches existed. The house itself is pristine and FULLY stocked. We especially appreciated all the beach gear, as car space is certainly at a premium when packing for a vacation with two little ones! Having a washer and dryer was also super convenient for minimizing the laundry we have to do at home. Truly, this house had everything we needed: close access for sand and surf lovers (my daughter and I) but plenty of other things to do in the area for those who want to do more than just the beach (like my son and husband). We are already talking about coming back again next year! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at this house for a week and it was perfect. My granddaughter is 3 and had a blast at both of the beaches. We found many different places to go out for dinner most recommended by our hosts and all were great. The home is bright, very clean and decorated so cute with beach appropriate decorations. It was perfect for the 3 of us. The hosts provided everything you need for the beach which made packing a lot easier, the hosts thought of everything. The house was immaculate. The neighborhood was in a great location; close enough to beach where it wasn't a hassle, but far enough away to avoid any noise/traffic. Everything was clean and well-labelled so finding what we needed was a breeze. Plenty of towels for both in the house and at the beach, so no need to bring any of your own. We cooked a lot while we were there, and it was hands down the BEST kitchen I've used at a rental.

My daughter, granddaughter and I had a delightful 4 night stay in this wonderful beach home. It is so comfortable, it has everything we could ask for and the hosts were so gracious and accommodating. It’s close to great beaches, restaurant’s and fun activities. We definitely hope to return soon!

It met all my expectations. It was a very lovely and cozy place and the location was very quiet, which I really loved alot. It was the perfect place for my family and I to create memories. It was also perfect for my husband and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were looking for a nice, quiet and cozy place to do that and this place met our expectations. Overall, our experience at the place was one that my family and I will cherish.

This was a last minute booking and I am so thankful it worked out for us. It was perfect for myself and children. Our plans were to come to CT for the beach and Mystic and that is exactly what we did. The house was perfectly situated and exactly as described. I have stayed at a few VRBO rentals and never have I stayed at one so fully stocked and ready for guests.

This house was so charming & spacious, and the hosts were very attentive. It is set in a friendly neighborhood. There is a large deck, and a nice yard and everything you need to make your stay run smoothly. There are nice restaurants minutes away, and the town beach was a 3 min drive, the hosts provide a beach cart, towels, and a cooler which made it that much more convenient. Overall, This was probably the most stress free vacation we’ve had so far.

As stated in previous reviews, this is a very clean, well decorated (beach theme) home that has everything you need at your fingertips. We enjoyed watching the local fireworks Friday night from the comfortable deck. Had a fun long weekend here, nice place to stay if you are looking for spot close to the ocean. 5 stars.

This was the perfect beach vacation. In a quiet neighborhood and close to the beach, it made for a relaxing and fun getaway. The cottage was equiped with beach equipment, plenty of towels, and a kitchen stocked with all the cooking equipment and spices you will need. It was very clean, bright, and comfortable.

Bill and Dot were amazing hosts and were incredibly attentive to any questions or requests we had. The house is very clean with lots of natural light and has a great atmosphere for relaxing. There are two wonderful beaches close by and thats where we spent most of our time. Highly recommend this house and will be back!

We love this place! It is decorated with a wonderful beach/cape code motif. Instructions are very clear. The place is clean bright and airy. Walking distance to two beaches, park and the Eugene O'Neil theater. The teens and I had a great time, we will definitely stay here again!

Spent the past week at this home and it was perfect. House is stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Communication with Bill was great and he was very accommodating. Already looking forward to coming back to my hometown and staying here again.

My family of 5 (2 adults, 2 small children, and an infant) had a wonderful stay in this adorable beach cottage over Memorial Day Weekend. We were able to explore the local beaches (surprisingly quiet, which we appreciated!), visit Mystic, and stop at The Dinosaur Place on our way home. It was clean, had plenty of amenities, and suited all our needs. So much better than staying at a hotel! Thank you for a great trip!
