Comfort Gardens

In a safe area of all embassies. Staff was amazing! Kind and caring. At the gate the gard always greets you with a warm smile. Front desk helpful with advice on where to go and what to do.

Faculty needs to be updated. Bathroom was so old shower head had no were to hang the tub was cracked. I came to breakfast at 9:30 and it looks horrible. Empty containers . Tables with missing silverware that you have to go from table to table to get. One morning ther was literally nothing so I asked for just vegetables and hard boiled eggs and that was the greatest breakfast I had there. The next morning I asked for it again and the answer was you can get the eggs but not the fresh vegetables because today we have the cooked vegetables. I understand that you serve African style but you are having guests from all over the world coming to the embassy. Just like you have western style on your menu it would be great to have fresh vegetables and some options for breakfast.

Property is attractive, quiet, safe, with grass and gardening. Helpful staff, reasonable quality for the cost, good breakfast.

Room is small and dark, and bathroom needs a good cleaning, and reworking of plumbing.

The hotel is well located in a quiet area next to the Village Market, so lots of restaurants and shops, including a gym. The staff was very friendly, good breakfast and the place felt good

It was ok

A great location, lovely big rooms, and friendly and helpful staff. There is a pool I didn't use and a garden to sit in that I did. This is very much an antidote to blah blah blah business travel hotels, so if you're as sick of them as I am then this is a hotel to consider. Especially if you need to be at the UNON or in the diplo quarter. I stayed 12 days, so if you're just in and out for a couple then some of the not-so-great aspects I note below are likely much less relevant.

This hotel probably knocked it out of the park 20years ago. But that was likely the last time the rooms saw a lick of paint or there was new carpet or furnishings. So it's a bit down at heel. If you're okay with that kind of 'character' then all will be good. Althought the food is rather uninspiring you're right next to a 10/10 food hall so, apart from breakfast which is passable, you can eat out most of the time.
