Most of the staff were very polite, patient and helpful. Some were stern but polite. They are for the most part well trained to deliver excellent service.
The water in shower for my room never got warm enough. It was barely lukewarm. When delivering newsletters just slip it under the door. I was walked in upon by a staff delivering a simple newsletter, he opened my room when I said "give me a moment" and i didn’t have a chance to grab my robe before opening the door. He opened it on me and seemed rushed to complete his task without forethought. As a single female, I did not like that.

The beauty of the beachfront and the softness of the white sand on the feet. Saltwater is healing to the body so being able to walk in the surf on the sand was relaxing and energizing. The locals/staff are welcoming, happy, caring and we loved talking with them. They know how to make their tourists feel at home.
Barbados is fairly pristine in the resorts however it is severely run down and neglected over much of the Island. Other than the highways, the roads are full of potholes, no shoulders and deep ditches await should you err or attempt to put distance between you and opposing traffic. Items are more expensive so budget accordingly.

The staff were warm and friendly. The activities for the kids were great - kids really enjoyed kids club, ice cream shop, water sports, and the beach/water.
The rooms and facilities are outdated. The food quality was average at best.
