Old and only partially refurbished.

Location is excellent as it is between train station and ferry port. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Staff were friendly.
The bar on the 21st floor was closed (Sunday and Monday nights) so weren’t able to have a ‘happy hour’ drink.
The bar on the ground floor was ok but dead when we got back from dinner at 21.00hrs.
Breakfast - the omelette and onigiri were good BUT when we arrived at 9.15hrs a lot of the dishes on the buffet were empty and staff were very slow/reluctant to refill. I tried and point this out with the restaurant manager but he just shrugged his shoulders. Breakfast is supposedly served until 10!
Location wins though.

Friendly and efficient staff, comfortable room, good location near ferry terminals and train station, shopping arcade nearby, nice hotel bar

Although the lobby was nice the rooms are not kept in good condition. The furnishings and the lack of outlets in the room do not make for a comfortable stay. Not worth the price.
The room condition and quality. Amenities in the room are very cheap as well. Staff is very transactional.
