When we arrived Rosa welcomed us with open heart. She gave us the full tour in the property showed us every lamp. Then she set us down for a brief of Costa Rica and the serroundings. She knows every place very well and we wish we met her Sooner. She helpe us with everything we needed, from recommendtions, parking space in the park, laundry to offering us her shoes to the rest of the trip! She is the best, she makes the place what it is. The place itself is big and very special. The room and the shower are huge. We loved the outside, the terrassa the garden the hammocks and the kitchen. We saw two agutins and iguanas. Its so close to everything you need in town and yet quiet.

The road is not the easiest one, and there are some steps to the flat. The bathroom has a glass door so it is not for everyone. But(!) nothing made us regret that we booked this amazing place, it is one of the highlights of our trip, we wish we stayed longer. :)

We loved our stay at Rosa’s. The apartment, the terrace and the gardens surrounding the apartment were beautiful, spacious and tranquil with a wonderful view of the ocean. Rosa has thought of everything including a hammock. Rosa is very knowledgeable about Costa Rica generally and gave us great suggestions both for our stay with her and for our onward travels. While staying with her, Rosa arranged a wonderful hiking tour, organised free parking at the beach and arranged for our laundry to be done. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a perfect stay.

This apartment was by far the best place we have stayed at during our trip! The jungle is literally your backyard and you are surrounded by wildlife. The apartment itself is also beautiful. It has everything you could need and more. On top of it all, Rosa is an incredible host! She's so helpful and she told us a lot about Manuel Antonio, the wildlife of Costa Rica and more... It's been great getting to know her! We really wished we could've stayed longer. Gracias Rosa!

Very charming apartment and property inside the forest !! Lovely terrace to take breakfast and dinner in the middle of the animals of the forest !! Rosa the owner is very sweet and nice !

Private spacious place hidden in the nice garden, full of the animals, flowers and trees. Close to the Manuel Antonio main beach, 5 min by car. Also shops and the restaurants are in the touch. The owner Rosa is very smart, positiv and exceptional lady. You are not only unknown turist bringing money for her, and that is the big diferent and reason why Rosa is the special. Good luck Rosa!!

The accommodation was great. Great space and a huge veranda looking out on a wooded area visited by all sorts of wildlife. Accommodation was clean and roomy. Separate kitchen and a big shower. The property owner, Rosa, was more than helpful. She went well beyond what you would expect. She had loads of information and advice that made our stay much more enjoyable. At the end of the stay you feel you have made a good friend in Rosa. Cannot thank her enough

As the location is half km along a very rough track I would recommend that who ever stays at the accommodation should book a car for rental.

Amazing looking flat, with beach and jungle view, properly equipped and lovely shower.

Hard to get there with anything other than 4x4, the nearest beach was a waste of time.

This place is an oasis of quiet and relaxation in the midst of the bustle of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. We liked sitting on the porch so much that of the four days we had in Manuel Antonio we spent two doing just that. On our first morning we already saw two types of monkeys, aras, iguanas, agoutis, humming birds and some other types of birds, while eating breakfast. The national park, which we visited on our third day, didn't offer much more - I expected more of the park. The place is also well temperated, offers a lot of space, two hammoks, plenty of seating, a large comfy bed, a well equipped kitchen... I could go on and on. We arrived in Quepos by bus. Rosa organized a taxi for us so we could go grocery shopping before getting to the apartment. Afterwards we usually walked the 600 meters to the main road to catch a bus to Manuel Antonio and the various beaches. So in case you don't have a rental car, it's not a problem at this place.

That we could only stay four days.

The location, the view, the facilities, the nature and the quiet, all are perfect! Oh, and Rosa is amazing!

Nothing, all was perfect

We loved our stay with Rosa, she is really takes the time to get to know you and helps you plan your trip. She was always available to help (e.g. she came with fresh Aloe vera for our severe sunburn) and recommend trips, places to eat, guides, etc. We highly recommend staying here! The apartment is very large, with a nice porch and garden. See you soon hopefully, Rosa!

It was perfect!

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at, and for sure the best host I’ve ever met. The place is beautiful! Much prettier in realty than in the photos. Rosa (the host) thought about every little detail in the room when designed it, and you can feel that she is hosting you with a lot of love.

The property is charming, comfortable, clean, and has everything you’d want. It’s secluded but very close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio NP. There’s a creek with lots of wildlife on the property. The view of the ocean is beautiful with amazing sunsets. A quiet beach is a short walk away. What really makes the stay exceptional though is Rosa! She’s one of the most warm, helpful, welcoming hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I look forward to returning soon!

That I couldn't stay longer

The location is beautiful and peaceful! If you like nature and privacy this the perfect place. Rosa is great, we did not have a car so she called us a taxi when needed! Definitely would stay here again.

Besides the first initial heartbeats driving through the rocky road; It will all be gone at the moment Rosa greets you with her social butterfly ways. The apartment is like a cabin in the forest so don’t panic with nature all around. You get to enjoy true peace and quiet in the morning while you sit on the Porch eating your good ole morning cooked breakfast with no rush through it. You also get to enjoy the critters and native animals roaming and flying by in your own back yard! There is GREAT AC in the bedroom so you will sleep all night feeling fresh. There is a nice view of the ocean yet, we didn’t have a chance to to the beach using the accessible road right outside the property. I enjoy having our own kitchen, bathroom and whole back yard! We also shared some good conversations with Rosa and had plentiful of laughs…she is so damn awesome.

Some crawly bugs in shower, but what can you do…haha it’s nature there all around. It’s still a beautiful place.

Absolutely Everything! Rosa is the best host ever: she is super positive, has an amazing energy, knows everything about Manuel Antonio and will go above and beyond to help you. The house is perfect. The pictures don't make justice to this little piece of heaven. You will see a lot of wild life in the garden, you do your dishes with a sea view and you will have all the comfort to spend a great time in Manuel Antonio. We were working remotely from Rosa's house and the wifi was super fast (60mbps) and stable. We spent a week at Karibu and were super sad when we had to leave. We highly recommend everyone to stay at Karibu's. Thank you so much Rosa for being so kind and generous with us.

Everything was perfect.

We stayed at this apartment for 3 nights, everything was perfect. The pictures don’t represent it well, it is even better then we were expected. Rosa thought about absolutely everything regarding the furnitures. It really felt like home. The rooms are huge as well as the beds Rosa is the perfect hostess, she really did take care of us and we thank here very much for that. We recommend this apartment without hesitation.

I loved this place as it was away from all the noise and very close to nature

A little bit pricey

Rose was a warm and welcoming host. The apartman is very spacious and very well equipped. You can find everything in the kitchen! There is a super balcony, which gave shade all day. There is a forest next to the house, so we saw many animals from the balcony. The house is on an upaved road, be prepared. There are also quite a few strairs to the house. You can also walk to the beach. It's appr. 10 mins downhill. The beach is quiet, we saw only a couple in 4 days. All summed up: we enjoyed the place and recommend!

For the future I suggest to change the mattress to a softer one and the A/C for a quieter one.
