The staff were very good. The wifi was down, but they were very apologetic, and I managed to hotspot which was fine. There were no towels in the room, but they fixed that quickly. I understand it's under new management and they acknowledge have a lot to do but they seem very keen and I wish them all the best.
No towels in room and jug didn't have power cord. There are a lot of steps, but I can understand that the ground floor rooms would book quickly. The folder in room needs updating - advertises Breakfast, which is not available yet (totally understandable) and some restaurants advertised have closed.

Good Location
TV was not working (only channel 9) - had to ask for a few things- I don't like to have to ask, it would have been good to have had all of what was needed in the room.

The staff were fantastic. The team had only been there for 2 weeks but nothing was too much for them and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable in the room and that the EV charger was working (excellent value charge). There is a good sized bar fridge and microwave available as well as an iron and smaller than normal, but functional, ironing board.
The hotel is feeling its age. Having said that the new staff are working hard on the aesthetics etc. which will pay dividends in the longer term. I would recommend bring your own cutlery and plates as there are only coffee cups, saucers and spoons available.
