Dear Management Team, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding a severe breach of privacy, safety, and security that occurred during my stay at your establishment. Upon checking in, we noticed the air conditioning unit was not functioning optimally. While we chose not to report it immediately to avoid disruption, the events of the following morning transformed this minor inconvenience into a deeply distressing and unacceptable security failure. The next morning, while my partner and I were in bed completely unclothed, two male staff members opened our room door using a keycard. They did not knock, ring the bell, or announce themselves in any way before entering. This sudden, unauthorized entry caused an immediate state of panic. Given the complete lack of warning, my immediate instinct was to prepare to physically defend myself and my partner from intruders. Fortunately, after I shouted to demand who they were, they quickly closed the door. Upon confronting the staff members through the door, they informed me they had come to replace the AC unit and claimed the front desk had not notified them that the room was occupied. I immediately contacted the front desk to rectify the situation. The agent on duty admitted to a major administrative oversight: the front desk database.
