The location, the owners that are super friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful place and in winter you can even make fire at your personal fireplace. We loved hiking in the area and coming back to a wonderful homemade dinner.

It feels like the middle of nowhere at times, but the view over the mountains is superb, the tranquility rejuvenating and the owners are exceptional in their friendliness and hospitality. We were offered one of the best home-made dinners ever and that even after a late arrival. The bed was very comfortable and the room (rather: a studio) very spacious and clean. Very spacious and comfortable common rooms, too, and the ‚living /dining-room‘ features a library with pretty good books!
This is a big facility requiring lots of care (and, we thought, a tremendous amount of everyday work). Amazing that the owners do it pretty much on their own. That some minor repairs or details here and there are missing is only natural but do not count, really, when one sees the big picture.
