Hotel Las Hamacas

Very comfortable, convenient location between beach, restaurants and dive shops, hot water, private and discreet polite service, good communication and after hours check in system. Dary was a wonderful and considerate receptionist with excellent customer care. The vibe is very relaxed with hammocks and double bed sun loungers around the palm tree fringed boutique size pool. For all the lovers! Too expensive for me for long term stay but perfect for a few days to recover from the 6 hour drive from the city. 5 stars 🌟 from me.

I didn't like leaving Las Hamacas or Santa Catalina but I will be back.

This is a large open plan hotel with rooms around a big pool with shady day beds and a relaxing outdoor communal area. Each room also has a hammock outside, as well as a couple of comfortable armchairs. There is also a collection of friendly cats which come to visit from the neighbourhood.

Our room was quite small for three people, and considering it's self-catering, the kitchen was quite inadequately equipped. The beach bar was also closed, possibly because it was low season while we were there. Though friendly enough, I didn't think the staff went out of their way to be particularly helpful.

Shower was bad and old. Just got a small stream. No closet in the room. Toilet Seat loose. Lighting not nice in the room
