What a lovely, comfortable cottage. Tippy’s is one of the favorite places we’ve stayed with a well-appointed kitchen, sweet porch and quick walk to the beach.
Audrey is a wonderful host. The cottage was super clean. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The property was absolutley adorable. We spent a considerable amount of time in the house since the weather was not cooperating. Still had the best time, and couldn't have asked for better communication and help with any questions we had. The house is lovely, in a great location, and makes you feel right at home.

We had a lovely week stay at Tippy's cottage. Super cute, beds very comfortable, outdoor porch with a lovely view of the ocean. Property manager very accessible and helpful. House was smaller than it looked online and staying with three adult children, it felt a little tight. Also, was not informed ahead about additional cleaning fee to be paid in cash at the beginning of our stay. Property appeared online to be closer to the beach than it was. The beach itself was wonderful, though! And we pretty much had it ourselves.

Great communication all through the booking and stay. Taxi service met us at the airport and Audrey met us at the dock. Audrey is a wonderful neighbour and caretaker helping us from the dock to the house, checking in on us through our stay and even made us amazing pumpkin bread. The house was gorgeous, closer to the beach than even the description suggested. A secluded, quiet and stunning beach at the end of the road. House was equipped with everything you could want or need, spotlessly clean and the views were fantastic. Everywhere is close by in a golf cart! We had a great week and were sorry to leave. Thanks so much, a wonderful stay.

If I could give more than 5 stars on Tippys Cottage I would! Its a beautiful comfortable fully stocked vacation house! The caretaker Audrey was super helpful, and there was nothing we wished for in the house. Everything was top notch. 5 minute or less walk to the beach, 15 minute or less golf cart ride to anywhere else. Very non touristy place, beautiful, nice locals, good food. I hope to go back!!

From start to finish, the perfect rental! The location was private and quiet with a beautiful view of the water. The house was fully equipped with everything you might need while away from home. One of the best parts was that it was spotless…perfectly maintained in every way. The house manager could not have been nicer or more helpful. We would absolutely love to stay there again! Thanks for a great visit!

I highly recommend staying at Tippy’s Cottage. Gail was really easy to work with and made sure everything was in place for our visit, from the golf carts to getting us in touch with a great charter company (Cay Witness Charters). The house had everything we needed and was only a few steps to a private beach. I would highly recomend staying at Tippy’s Cottage if you plan on visits Spanish Wells.

Tippy's Cottage is a beautiful home with everything you need. We loved the home and the island so much! Gail was a wonderful host, taking care of everything for us. She responded very quickly to every question I had and just really made this vacation a breeze. The restaurants on the island were wonderful. Wreckers and the Sandbar were our favorites! Thank you, Gail and Audrey! It's so nice to have such wonderful hosts!

This year was a girls trip and like last year it was amazing! Tippys is so cozy and adorable and fully stocked! Audrey is terrific and when we had a plumbing issue she quickly brought in people to fix the problem. They were there all evening until 10 pm and back early the next morning to compete the job. I love this this island and the cottage is in a great location! Can’t wait to come back next year!

My husband and I stayed at Tippy's March 12-21st. The property manager was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions via text or whatsapp. She also baked some amazing pumpkin bread and left some freshly picked bananas. Wow--above and beyond for sure! The cottage is well-appointed and can definitely accommodate many more guests as it was just my husband and me this time, we had a lot of extra space. Being able to open all of the doors in the living area to let the breeze in made it truly feel like you could be outdoors even when inside. We enjoyed breakfast on the large deck every morning and also cooked a lot of evening meals using the gas grill. The grill and indoor appliances all work really well, and you will not be missing any cooking utensils or supplies! It is all there! Also, one really important thing to us is comfy beds, and they were! Most importantly, for us, the location was perfect. It's on a quiet street not too far after crossing the bridge to Russell, and the short walk down the lane to the sandy beach was a huge bonus. We enjoyed it every day! A great big thank you to the caretaker and owners for such an awesome experience!

We just returned from an 8-night stay at Tippy's Cottage, and it exceeded all of our expectations. We traveled with 8 people, and everyone had a very nice space. Being so close to the beach was fabulous, we spent just about every day there. The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable vacation. The owners provided phenomenal customer service and really helped make our vacation incredible. Audrey the caretaker was great. She was always helpful and made us pumpkin bread. We absolutely loved Russell Island and will certainly come back to stay at Tippy's. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us, Russell Island certainly has a piece of our heart.

Our stay at Tippy's was incredible! The house was as advertised and more than plenty for our family of four. The pantry and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and the beds were super comfy. Audrey was a great communicator and property manager and was very helpful in arranging details - golf cart, return taxi and more. And the views from the house are stunning. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Spanish Wells!

The house is lovely and so well appointed. Everything we needed was there, and more! Gail has great style and a wonderful house manager. This was the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in (and we travel often.) Russel Island has several beautiful beaches to choose from so it was not too inconvenient that the beach closest to the house was private. We highly recommend this gem!

We absolutely loved Gail's house!! It is perfectly decorated and comfy and cozy. Communicating with Gail was a breeze, and the same goes for Audrey, the caretaker. The location was perfect, just over the bridge, and walking distance to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I found this slice of paradise last year and stayed 10 days. This trip we rented Tippies Cottage and stayed two weeks. The cottage was a dream cottage with everything we needed. Only steps away from the most beautiful beach and water. The hosts took amazing care of us and had everything lined up and ready to go. I can’t say enough great things about our stay on Russell Island/Spanish Wells.

Summer vacation
My family and I enjoyed all 11 days during our stay at tippys cottage! The house was so well stocked with everything you would need, they even had a pack n play for our son. Audrey was very helpful during our stay with anything we needed. The beach at the end of the road was beautiful! We absolutely loved the island and our time there and will definitely be back!

This trip and the cottage was a dream come true and the most amazing birthday I've ever had. This island and the cottage are the perfect combination of the comforts of home and a vacation that feels like you're on your own private island. Can't wait to come back to Tippy's!!

Spanish Wells Dreaming
We visited Spanish Wells for a day trip last year and fell in love. We booked Tippy’s sight unseen because it had great pictures, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and was near a beach. What we got was perfection! This house had everything we could need and more! From an extremely well equipped kitchen, to beach towels & chairs, to really comfortable beds, Tippy’s had everything. But the very best was the property manager, Audrey. Her thoughtfulness was amazing! After losing some luggage, we arrived tired and hungry. She arranged for us to be picked up at the airport by Kelvin, who got us to his boat and we were met at the dock by Audrey. She got us to Tippy’s and had her world class pumpkin bread waiting with beverages! We have spent a lot of time traveling looking for that perfect spot and we are so grateful we found it in Tippy’s!

Great location and ocean views, very well maintained property with all amenities
Very well maintained property with all amenities and well stocked with beach gear, kayaks, paddle board, etc. Great location, only steps away from the beach (~100'), and with excellent ocean views and breeze. Be sure to keep an eye out for the resident Manatees, one of which visited with us for 45 mins, looking for belly rubs, it was quite an experience, and was one of the highlights for our daughters. Can't say enough about both the owner and host (Audrey), who were very helpful with trip planning and during our stay. Audrey provided insight on the property, places to go, see, and eat, and she was able to arrange for us (within 15 mins) a car rental and day trip to the main island (Eleunthera), which is a must if you like some adventure and sight seeing (Sapphire Blue Hole, Preacher's Cave, Glass Window, and Queens Bath). We had a great experience overall and would not hesitate to recommend Tippy's Cottage, we are already looking to plan our return trip.

Spanish Wells/Russell Island did not disappoint! We squeezed as much as we could into our short stay (4 nights, 5 days) but feel we got a true taste of the area! All restaurants we tried were great, no complaints, I don't think you can go wrong anywhere. Golf carting around the island, fun in itself! We had a great day on the water with Captain Brent and the best turtle experience (ever), a day off island to explore the beautiful beaches of Eleuthera (definitely worth it) and a surprise and up close encounter with Calypso, the manatee under the bridge. What a hidden gem this cottage was, and a great getaway for all! We would love to go back and definitely recommend this rental!

The house is perfect! Exactly like the listing and has a very cozy beach vibe. The setup was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids) and Marsha was so helpful during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

We had a view of the water with 10 shades between green and blue over the whitest sand imaginable! Tippy's Cottage is so very comfortable and welcoming. The owners have thought of everything and Audrey is just phone call away to help with any excursion arrangements or problems. The wifi was excellent. The beds were just right and we enjoyed the air-conditioning at night but did not need it during the day with the tropical breezes and fans throughout the home. Everyone in Spanish Wells waves to you as you drive your personal golf cart wherever you need to go. Great restaurants are 5-10 minutes away as is a full-service grocery store! We enjoyed the church services on Sunday and made new friends everywhere we went. The beaches are indescribably gorgeous with crystal clear water. No sea urchins or broken glass or rocks so you can go barefoot and walk on pure silk! We rested from our hectic schedules and read books. We enjoyed an excursion with Cay Witness (Capt. Chuck and his wife, Suzy). They took us to feed the swimming pigs and turtles and we snorkeled with hundreds of multi-colored fish at a deserted island. We explored Sand Dollar sand bar which is only visible (and walkable) a few hours a day and found many starfish. Priceless and highly recommended! Our vacation ended too soon for us and we are already counting the days when we can go bak again! Don't hesitate---let Gail and Tom and Audrey thoroughly spoil you! They will! Debbie and Harlan

The most wonderful vacation
We had an amazing time in Spanish Wells and staying in Tippy’s Cottage. The location is perfect, the house is very clean and beautiful and the support from the housekeeper is invaluable.
We will definitely go back, hopefully very soon.
