It was lovely to have a warm and friendly place to come home to after the Shirakawago crowds had left for the day. Being able to bring your own food in from the convenience store across the road, to eat/heat in the restaurant area, was a real bonus. Friendly and helpful staff.
It can be cool in the building, but there are lots of heaters available to warm the hallways and bedrooms.
