Absolutely outstanding quality, lovely and peaceful location looking over country side, all the cooking utensils you’ll need, lovely bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike.

The configuration was excellent with bedrooms either side of the living space. The bathroom was very good with a lovely shower. The social area was a delight with quirky seating and attractive planting. We really enjoyed a meal at La Pergola, an Italian restaurant we’d highly recommend halfway between Cambridge and the barns.

Nothing really. We were playing hockey in Cambridge so the 20+ minute journey team was a bit of a trek but we knew that anyway. Guests in a neighbouring barn returned at 11.30 and had a long and loud conversation with the taxi driver but that was no fault of the owners.

Out of town location so fairly quiet. Very spacious rooms. One of the best bathrooms we have had in any stay yet. Good kitchen set up. Extra bedroom if required but not used. Nice size TV and modern 4k type. Good WiFi. Plenty of parking and being able to take car right up to the door for unloading

No bus stops nearby or within safe walking distance. Poor mobile phone signal but that is Cambridge all over. WiFi available though.

Good location, near to Cambridge

We stayed at Clopton Courtyard for two nights as a family and overall had a good stay, though it didn’t quite reach the level we were expecting based on previous reviews. The barns are well presented and the setting is lovely, but they are positioned quite close together, and we did notice that noise travelled into the bedroom more than we would have liked. We were also contacted a few days before arrival to pay a dog fee, which hadn’t been clearly outlined at the time of booking. This wasn’t a problem in itself, but clearer upfront communication would have made things smoother. There were a few minor maintenance issues—such as loose kitchen drawers and a discoloured toilet seat—which slightly detracted from the overall finish. We also found there was very limited interaction during our stay. We reached out regarding a late check-out but unfortunately didn’t receive a response. Overall, this is a good place to stay and we did enjoy our visit, but with a bit more attention to detail and communication, it could easily match the high ratings it currently receives
