Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort and Spa

Had a few mishaps with flights and did not think we would actually make it to Bunaken. From the moment you arrive you are in paradise. The staff are what make this resort 5 stars. We have stayed at many luxury resorts and dive resorts around the world and Bunaken Oasis is our top 3. Service, staff, food, diving, room, the pool was all amazing. We stayed 3 nights and wish we stayed longer. Room has a Nespresso machine, water filter in room, beds are huge and comfy! We opted for full board which is a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. So much food and the food is actually good, big portions and you can order whatever and have as much as your stomach allows. Dive boats, dive guide and dive gear are top notch. We saw heaps of turtles and highly recommend Buanken for diving. Little extras like watching the sunset in the pool and staff bringing out beverages without us even having to ask. Such a romantic and magical resort and highly recommend. The surprise at the end of your stay is so special and very thankful to have stayed at this resort.

Resort is pricey, but resort, staff and diving is worth every penny and we wished we stayed longer.

De vriendelijkheid van management (Kelly) en het personeel, de duikfaciliteiten zijn perfect. De kamers zijn ruim en netjes ingericht. Mooie Spa. Alles is goed georganiseerd, zowel het duiken als het transport van en naar het resort. Het restaurant en het eten is uitstekend en zeer gevarieerd.

Wij hadden een hooggelegen bungalow, dus erg veel trappen te nemen. Indien je iets minder goed ter been bent wellicht naar lager gelegen bungalow vragen.

Location - Superb....within 10-40 min boat ride from 20+ amazing dive sights. Resort - absolutely gorgeous and v large well appointed rooms. Food - genuinely top class food. Best Indonesian food in all my trips to Bali, Lombok, Manado etc. Great non-Indo food also like pastas, grills, pizzas, coffee etc. Staff - love them. So kind and nice. Always smiling. And can solve any issues.

its a bit pricey....but honestly it takes a lot of attention (= $$)to get it all right. And this resort does that exactly. Pricey but worth the expense totally.

Fantastic staff, super friendly and responsive always willing to help - even created a fresh Aloe vera mixutre for my hand which had been badly stung by coral. Great food, amazing views, comfy bed.

It was a bit too pricey realistically for being in this area of Indonesia which is so cheap outside the resort. While a very nice resort, I would say probably 30% too high in price. That being said, few alternatives in this area if you want a top quality resort to dive Bunaken! So go for it!
