Over the past four and a half decades, we have traversed the globe, residing in numerous remarkable establishments and embarking on cherished adventures. Remarkably, this patio is situated within 50 feet of a constant flow of Kruger National Park wildlife (antelopes, monkeys, Kudu’s, warthogs, mongoose, etc) providing an immersive but safe experience in the “Bush.” Furthermore, home-cooked meals are available, including BBQed dinners and “made-to-order breakfasts on your patio.” The expanding property also offers a diverse range of customized safari adventures, guided by seasoned experts who will lead you through Africa’s premier National Park for morning, afternoon, or full-day excursions. Whether you are an individual traveler, a couple, or a family, the Foxy Crocodile offers an unparalleled and secure sanctuary for experiencing a genuine safari in a personalized and welcoming setting. Our stay here was excellent — we even extended it by two more days. From the moment you arrive, impalas and wildebeests greet you at the property, and you immediately feel the privacy and peace of the surroundings. The hosts, Basil and Riette, are wonderfully friendly and welcoming; it truly felt like home. The dinners were outstanding, especially the t-bone steak, which was top-notch. They also offer safari experiences with additional costs, which I would highly recommend to anyone staying here.

Where to even begin with Foxy Crocodile?! Me and Leanne stayed for 4 nights and it has been one of our favourite hotels that we have ever stayed in. The accomodation is amazing. The rooms are luxurious and have everything you need from an outdoor shower, large bathtub and an extremely comfy bed. There are a lot of areas where you can sit and watch the abundance of wildlife passing by both near your room or across the river (usually elephants, bucks and crocodiles to see) it's both peaceful and incredibly relaxing. The half board menu is also a treat! You will have breakfast either provided at the lodge or pre-prepared should you be out on a safari. We loved having dinner brought to our villa whilst we listened to the noises over by the nearby river. The maids were smiley, friendly and always wanted to ask about your day! Whilst here, we took part on our first ever safari’s and booked 3 into Kruger National Park and had the pleasure of going out each time with Jaun. His knowledge was exceptional and he did everything he could to make sure each experience was rewarding. We would highly recommend booking safaris during your stay. The hospitality from the owners Basil and Riette is another thing that makes this place so special. They are warm and welcoming and very generous without being at all intrusive; but are always there to offer a friendly smile, advice and to ask about what you saw on your safari. They really do make Foxy Crocodile such a special place and we will forever be grateful that we booked to stay here.
