A stunning, quaint, large town house five mins walk to the beautiful town of Pezenas. The house is so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Thoughtful touches like generous stocks of coffee (pods and ground), shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Both private and communal outdoor space which is well maintained. The pool is a welcome bonus in the summer heat! Excellent communication and information provided by the hosts.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the centre with restaurants and shops, easy to get around with car. Big supermarket was close. A lot of great trees that gave shadow inside and outside.

The property itself has a lot of promise. The building from the outside is quite beautiful. It's gated, safe and private (but shared with the other apartments). The parking is across the road and easy to get in and out of - we had a large vehicle. The hosts communicate well and are friendly. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to get to the historic centre. The door handles are cute and quirky.

We stayed in the deluxe apartment (Pierrot). It needs maintenance. The toilet seat is old and stained. The inside walls need a paint or clean. Some of the decor is purposely made to look distressed but comes across dirty instead. The raised pebbles on the shower floor are uncomfortable to stand on. The shower curtain was stained as is the shower wall and the mat in the living room. There was a long hair and dust in one of the bowls in the kitchen cupboard. The mattress in one of the main bedrooms is soft and doesn't sit quite right. The bed frame made a rocking type of noise when you moved. The quilt covers and pillow cases were an unusual texture, not soft and the pillows are very big/high- not comfortable to sleep on. The mezzanine bedroom is not private and doesn't have a bathroom. Guests staying there would need to use one of the other bedroom ensuites which would make it awkward if staying with several couples. It has blinds for privacy but they don't go fully around and there's no door. It would be good if the property was sprayed as the mosquitos flew in as soon as you opened a door or window. For this reason, we couldn't sit outside, nor could we open windows (even with the lights off). There is a communal outdoor sofa set but the white cushions were dirty (or stained) - it wasn't appealing to sit there. It's an old building with gaps here and there so isn't sound proofed. Overall this place has promise but it really needs some TLC.
