HOTEL HILLARYS Akasaka

Great location, really close to the station (different entrances all accessible) and so much choice for bars and restaurants a stone throw away! The room was nice and the bed was big and comfy. Air con worked really well. The amenities available are a lovely touch and super helpful as-well as the drinks and especially the happy hour

We wish the window would open to allow natural light in and fresh air. The room did have a smell I assume due to lack of ventilation in the room and bathroom.

Rooms are very small (typical for Tokyo so it was okay) and unfortunately when u opened the window the smell of the ramen shop downstairs came in so fresh air was hard to get into our room.

Clean, comfortable and cozy Japanese-like design. Loved the Japanese style breakfast and enjoyed some relaxing times at the public onzen.

My room was fantastic but air was stuffy when entering the room. It will go away quickly after turning on the AC. It was a very minor issue on an otherwise pleasant stay.

The roof top is very nice, but not accessible between 10am -5pm and after 10pm Good location

-No common area in the hotel besides the roof top and the bar which are closed between 10am-5pm and 10pm-7:00am which are the main times when you would like to spend time with others in the hotel as the rooms are tiny and you can barely walk in them (10m2-12m2) - toilets in the room have no heating functionality - a tiny window which is in a milky white, so you never have day light in your room and it feels like a prison. - it is located on a very crazy road with a lot of bars and ladies dressed as bunnies. May be a plus for others - the onsen is ok as there is no cold water tub.
