Tree House Tranquil-A-Tree Romantic Escape
Il nostro Tree House, situato a circa 1. 5 ore da Portland International Airport a Portland, Oregon è una destinazione molto amata per chi cerca la pace e la serenità della natura ed è una Fuga Romantica incredibile.
Sospeso tra più imponente abete Douglas alberi nel cuore delle Cascade Mountains del maestoso Columbia River Gorge, ai piedi delle imponenti, coperto di neve Monte Adams (il secondo più alto picco vulcanico glaciale U. S. Pacific Northwest) i nostri ospiti hanno la loro scelta di avventure all'aria aperta miriade (windsurf, kayak, trekking, rafting, ecc) o semplicemente di relax nella propria vasca idromassaggio privata e rigeneranti nella cornice boschiva bucolico di Tree House Tranquil-A-Tree.
Con due storie e due posti letto full-size (una full size fatti a mano letto log di cedro nella camera matrimoniale e un futon pieghevole al piano nobile), Tree House Tranquillo-A-Tree può essere riservato per un massimo di quattro la gente. Noi siamo una famiglia accogliente e permettiamo agli ospiti di portare i loro ben educati i membri della famiglia canina (condizioni). Cani residenti salutarvi - o anche darvi un tour a piedi.
Il villaggio di White Salmon, Oregon, a circa 15 miglia dalla casa sull'albero, dispone di più ristoranti, gallerie d'arte, un microbirrificio di fama nazionale, e fare la spesa presso il negozio locale sia naturale alimentari (Festa) o al supermercato locale (Thriftway).

Property was amazing, directions were spot on and it was beautiful. The spiral staircase was tight and definitely not kid friendly. The bathroom upstairs and showered were great!!

We had such an incredible time at this lodging. We wanted to get away from the stress of the city and found this gem of a place. Our first night, we were sitting at the hot tub listening to music when it started snowing! It was magical. We had downloaded some movies on our tablet and enjoyed watching them wrapped around a fire. Not to mention, how incomparable it is to wake up in the middle of nowhere with your significant other and no interruptions. That being said, I should reiterate some key points that should be obvious from the description but you should have in mind.
This lodging is ouuuut there. You have to follow the directions of the host exactly because a) there’s no cell reception for half of the way and b) the roads get pretty wild out there and the last thing you want is to get stuck there.
If you are driving, make sure you have snow chains and a 4x4. We had an all wheel drive and I think we would’ve done better on the road leading up to the house if we had a sturdier vehicle.
The communication with the hosts leading up to the stay was excellent. I felt like my questions were thoroughly answered and they seemed like lovely folks.
Anyways, I don’t know why the last review is from 2017 but I’ve recommended this place to literally everyone I know. It is THAT good! Give yourself a chance to delight in the magic of this place, you won’t regret it.

After booking this place and looking at the map, I feared it would be too far out there for us to really enjoy the area. But it was actually just about the perfect amount of "far away" - close enough to get to town easily, but far enough away that we didn't hear the fireworks (which was the whole reason we went - our dogs hate fireworks).
and speaking of dogs, don't let Bruisers name and size fool you - he is one of the sweetest and best behaved dogs you'll ever meet. Having him around actually made our stay more enjoyable because he was such a delight. Even our dogs loved him.
As for the cabin itself, I don't think there was anything we needed that wasn't there. It's just the perfect size for a couple looking for a nice romantic getaway. The hot tub was clean and worked (we've had issues with that at other properties), the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The only oddity was the floor sloped a bit, but not badly, and really - it's a treehouse, built on and in the trees - the slope gave it that rustic feeling. It DID take me a half day to stop feeling like I had just gotten off a ship after a few days at sea (if you've ever been in the Navy you'll recognize that feeling), but it's all part of the charm.
I've seen some other reviews that complained about the caretakers house being able to "see in". Meh.. for one, it's pretty far away. Across a field and behind a barn. If you're concerned about him watching you, I have to wonder what kind of neighbors you have. And speaking of neighbors, the caretaker (drawing a blank on his name) is a super interesting guy. Quite a history and great stories if you get the chance to talk to him. We were there on the 4th of July, and when we returned from town that day, he had a whole picnic spread waiting for us for dinner (we had discussed it with him ahead of time - it wasn't like we wanted privacy and he intruded). Really nice guy, very attentive to our needs.
All in all, great stay and once the yurt is complete, we'll probably go stay there too.

For the most part, the treehouse accommodations were what we expected - Charming and a little rugged. Our favorite part about it was listening to cassette tapes and drinking wine under the stars and the colorful lights on the patio. On the downside, we were greeted by a couple of really big dogs that jumped on us and barked at us the whole time we unpacked our car. It was a little intimidating but we're all dog lovers so it was ok. The dogs came back for a visit in the middle of the night howling at the full moon. Additionally, we couldn't get the hot tub to heat up so that was a bummer. However, we did not call the caretaker because it was late by the time we decided to get in. He probably could've fixed it so I wouldn't let that deter you. Earlier in the day we walked over and met the caretaker who was very kind and welcoming. Overall, we had a great weekend in White Salmon and Hood River and enjoyed our stay at the treehouse.
