The location was perfect close to great walks and villages, the house is spacious with everything you need, spotlessly clean, great garden to sit out in, just perfect!

Nothing

Loved the scenery, birdsong, footpaths from the door, local pub, handy boot room, good outdoor space.

Straight on the road, but not a very busy road!

Location was a little out the way from town but the views were incredible and the place was cosy and well kept and modernised. Couldn’t fault it.

Some spider or fly repellent as they were everywhere😂

The location was excellent. Easy to walk to Seatoller and a really nice ramble path or two towards the lake. The house was nice, WiFi excellent and kitchen amenities very good including a state of the art microwave, cooker and dishwasher. A nice garden for the children to play football in. There was a BBQ but I did not fire it up even though the weather was glorious. We did arrive to a leaking ceiling (but this was dealt with swiftly the next day) - all in all - very nice. It was a 15 minute drive to Keswick and I discovered my new favourite supermarket - Booths - where I could buy all the essentials.

1) the cleaning of the property could have been better - it was quite clean (especially downstairs) but there were large cobwebs in the bedrooms suggesting that the cleaning was not thorough upstairs 2) This is not so much a problem - just an observation - other properties that I have stayed at have included some essentials such as cooking oil and a few herbs and this was not the case here - however, the cutlery, cooking utensils, cookware were all very good.
