Coach Hill House

It was my first time visiting Cork, and I travelled there to attend a nearby conference. During my stay at Coach Hill House, the host provided me with extremely useful information and was consistently helpful, professional and attentive. The room was exactly as described, and despite travelling alone, I was provided with a double bed. There were plenty of power outlets, and the accommodation was also conveniently located near a large Dunnes Stores, which made it easy to pick up food and snacks. There is a city bus stop just outside the accommodation, which made travelling around Cork very straightforward. Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. My sincere thanks to everyone who contributed their time and effort to making my stay so enjoyable.

There was genuinely nothing I disliked about my stay. Everything met or exceeded my expectations, and I was very pleased with the accommodation, the location and the hospitality provided.

No tea making facilities in room

Easy to reach and park car. Very comfortable rooms up to expectations. Kindliness of the host.

Hot water for showers hardly received. Narrow stairs and no elevator; weren’t mentioned upfront at reservation. Very limited free space in the shared fridge; upgrade suggested.

The room was very spacious with a nice view as well.

The website did not note that there was a dog on the property.. It barked continuously one morning. Also, the showerhead in the bathroom was defective, therefore only a small amount of water came out.The wall-to-wall carpet must’ve been relatively new as the door to the bathroom dragged and stuck on it. The door should be planed. Parking is on a flat area down a steep section so suitcases are dragged up/down that area. The B&B is located on a busy road.
