Staycity Aparthotels Heidelberg

We needed a place with air-conditioning in the heatwave with our toddlers, and it delivered. The staff was excellent, kind, effective, providing two cots promptly. The hall is a nice place to linger when it is scorching outside. The small grocery (drinks and snacks only, no real food) in the hall with self checkout is great. It also have a nice yard, despite it doubles as a parking place, with covered tables and longe chairs. Did not try, but the breakfast and basic all day restaurant (warmed up frozen, served properly) looked good too. The layout of the room is fine, good size for a three night stay with a family. Quiet too. All in all it was pleasant. They even has a secure bike parking area in the yard, covered, which was handy for us.

Our room in the long arm of the L shaped hotel was only accessible by the back elevator, which is also used for ALL housekeeping matters. Busy all day. Have to wait a lot with the two toddlers while the (nice) staff with big carts move up and down. This is just an incompetent architecture of the hotel closing the upper floor corridors for full length access, for .... I don't know for what. There is a wall that does not exists in the ground floor, with no apparent reason why, what function it serves. The floor in the living room area was dirty (the bathroom and the bed was spotless though). The small stove has no power. Takes 20+ minutes to heat up a half pot of water, boiling... I don't know, we did not try, had no time for this. : ) Living in Heidelberg I can say, this location is a maximum of OK for discovering and enjoying the city. It was excellent for us, but this review is for everyone else, so I have to be honest. Takes a while getting to the nice spots.

La stanza era relativamente piccola ma funzionale, il letto comodo e c'era il minimo indispensabile

La biancheria non sembrava molto pulita. Ho trovato un groviglio grosso di capelli negli asciugamani e le lenzuola avevano una macchia. Consiglierei di mettere dei fazzolettini di carta, più cucchiaini e tazze e zucchero

Very spacious room for a great upgrade price, wonderful bathrooms and a great spacious bed. We also loved the living room and the space, as well as the terrace.

There is something with the sound on the top floor… We heard a baby scream like it was right next to us instead of in the room next to ours (probably?).

The room is modern and nice equipped with all you could need

The cleaning service is not everyday, i had to pay for the parking although it says that the the hotel has private parking. I found it kind of scamming, 1 night 15€ for parking
