The hostess/owner was amazing and has a very quirky house. She was very friendly and amiable. The views from the room and gardens were amazing

The access was very hilly and I mean steep. The village shops were only open from 10am to 5pm. Very little eatery choice with the hotels/pubs closing at 10pm and the kitchen closing at 8.30pm and very expensive

The view is stunning and the character of this Edwardian property is further enhanced with lots of quirky nik naks on show in this treasure trove. Gillian was a great host at Clooneavin.

The property is self catering and is adequately set up for this purpose. the apartment was very clean and tidy. Good hanging and storage for clothing. Good bed comfort, bathroom has shower in bath. The view out of the front window was absolutely amazing, being in an elevated position looking out to sea and over the town of Lynmouth and the cliffs to the east and the woodlands that take you along beautiful walks up to watersmeet, a must do if you can. Have stayed here twice now and have never had any problems with the parking at the property. The property owner Gillian was wonderful with us.

Location & view from the window.

Whilst heating etc is listed on the website description, it doesn't mention that you have to feed the electricity meter with one-pound coins. We didn't heat up the tank to get hot tap-water or use the electric radiators, much as we wanted to. There is a substantial skylight directly over the bed and its blind was jammed, best to wear an eye mask. Car parking was a squeeze - there is no easy come easy go!
