A compact cottage but it had everything that was needed and was very comfortable. The location was excellent with shops, pubs and takeaways on the doorstep. Very close to the coast and a short journey to the North York moors.

Parking was sometimes difficult and the road was very muddy. No outside light over front door.

What a gorgeous place to stay. The apartment was really well equipped - one of the best I have ever stayed in for this. Very cosy and will definitely stay here again. Absolutely superb.

The bed could have been more comfortable, but it was not awful

Little quiet town near the dog friendly beach. Lovely accommodation everything we needed. And welcomed by John and his wife warmly.

Nothing not to like.

Nice quiet location. Plenty of parking space. Lovely Kitchen and spacious bathroom.

The property photos were somewhat misleading. The apartment is part of the owners house which would have been nice to know before booking. We were left to get on with things but it still felt like I was staying in someone`s house. Worse was there`s an internal door that would allow access by owner into apartment which my wife and I weren`t comfortable with. It was very dark inside too very little natural daylight gets in and the bedroom was so dark you couldn`t see your hand once you put the light out. Having said all that it was a very quiet place and if you like peace and quiet it`s the place for you if you can overlook the things I mentioned. Oh and while I think on the access to rear garden had an overhang of the house eaves which I banged my head on 3 times it is so low (I`m 6` tall) No hazard marking or warning. It was quite sharp and made my head bleed each time.
