It’s in the heart of Odda. Near the bus station , restaurant and groceries. The property is more on for backpacking person who goes to Trolltunga hike. Strategically, a good place where to stay.
There’s no staff to talk to when I arrived late at 7PM. Had it not been for the help of people staying there, got a struggle contacting the property owner. It could have been better, since it’s a reservation and already paid, property owner could have been sent me correspondence regarding my stay, assigned bed and code prior to my arrival. Nonetheless, property owner or staff was prompt sending me email for property access.

The location was really good: close to the bus stop from other cities and close to the stop of Trolltunga Shutlle. The hostel is well-equipped, you can find anything you need in the kitchen. The bathroom was also good. The check-in process was easy and understable. It's a good place to stay for 1-2 night for reasonable price in Odda and to hike Trolltunga and Buarbreen.
Hostel is hostel, so I prefered this type of accomadation only because of very high hotel/apartment prices in Odda for a lonely traveller. So you live with 11 other people in the room (when I was there there were less, so there were no queues to the bathroom). But for hostel it's a pretty good accommodation.

Great location and a good bed.
Showers and toilets need to be cleaned all the time in hostels. The bathroom was nice and good shower, but the drain needs som cleaning. Expensive for what you get.
