The room was simple but clean. The en suite was very clean and well-equipped. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. We had been warned that they could not provide evening meals temporarily but the breakfast was very good. This is a friendly village pub with rooms which the owner is working hard to revive, and we were happy to support them.
Nothing

I was told when i booked that the pub was having work carried out so there was no bar and no food in the evening which wasn't a problem.
Nice cottage room very clean.
On checking in the owner had said she would have a hot sandwuch ready to take with me i had had to leave early to get to Castle Combe circuit for 7.30 am. At 7.10 my sandwich was waiting for me including a bottle of water and a apple, which was fantastic.
