The Rooms at Cunningham's - adults Only

Great location. Lovely pub downstairs with lovely food. Big room with lovely generous huge great curtains.

We were told that the door between the hotel and the Chinese takeaway/restaurant “ was always locked for security reasons”. However it was always open and right next to our room, making us feel quite insecure, in our experience. The shower was a nightmare to operate. The housekeeper knocked us up at 8.45 in the morning , checking our needs, which was not welcome( there’s no ‘do not disturb’ sign available). The parking was a total nightmare… the meter only took cash or an app I didn’t have( I had uk version and couldn’t download the Irish version). We couldn’t forward book our overnight stay, didn’t have cash then a helpful staff member told us where to park for free, at the back. This was useful info and we wished we’d been told this when we checked in, but we weren’t. I’m always nervous of any hotel that does not have staff on the premises overnight, in case there’s a problem. A phone number does not reassure me I’m afraid.

Rooms were very nice

Access to the rooms is poor due to many stairs and no lift

Great room in main street above hotel - centrally located walking distance to many restaurants, shopping village, train station and National Stud Staff were extremely helpful had a problem regarding our holiday and Rachel who was an owner went out of her way to help us and make us feel at home when we were very stressed - could not have been more accommodating - we are so grateful to her

some stairs to get to room but nothing can do about that room was a little warm although a fan was in room

Rooms were beautifully decorated with good facilities. Coffee machine in the room was an added treat.

Unfortunately we were in an apartment which was located in a side alley. When we were returning to the room after dining there was a fairly intimidating group of lads hanging around in the alley so this tainted the whole experience.
