My co-worker from Switzerland and I enjoed staying at this home while on our month long work trip . Too bad it was in yhe winter because the putside area and amenities for the lake would have been awesome to enjoy. It was just too cold. The house was perfect in all ways. It allowed us to have our own space and cooking ability unlike a hotel would have. The hosts were very quick with answering any questions. The only thing i would recommend to the owners is maybe think about tvs in the rooms . Not a complaint just a feature upgrade.

This was our 2nd stay at the property. Peter is very easy to work with. The property is well equipped and organized as well as clean. Our grandkids who live in the neighborhood enjoyed visiting and using the putting area. We look forward to future visits when visiting family.

The pictures of this property are accurate but don’t do justice to the beautiful views each morning and evening. It was extremely clean and well furnished. Peter was always very prompt with communication, and the location is ideal. Away from all the traffic, but convenient to stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

One of the top vacation home @ Discovery Bay. The home was Immaculate, Nice Boat Dock, and Great Owner. The view was Beautiful. Our first choice next vacation.

I had never heard of Discovery Bay until I started looking for places close to Brentwood where my son was getting married. I found out that two couples could stay here for less than two hotel rooms in Brentwood. This place did not disappoint. Nothing like waking up and having coffee on the deck overlooking the water. Had fun kayaking and paddle boarding too. Very clean house. Highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted a little getaway that was a short drive from home and near the water. This place delivered! The accommodations were perfect! We were right on the water with a great view, in a comfortable home that had everything we needed and more. Peter was readily accessible for any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

The three of us had a blast! Lots of paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing! Beautiful and comfortable home on the water. House was well stocked and owners are very nice and responsive!

We received a call that we could check in early, so the trip was off to a great start. We had some friends stayed just up the block… are place was way better. The place was amazing, it was perfect for the wife and I. The biggest perk was water front and a dock for my 3 Sea Doos. We met the neighbors, very nice and welcoming. The garage was an bonus for my ski supplies. The 2 bedroom 2 bath house was updated with all the comforts of our home .The master Bed was so comfortable we’re going to contact the owners to ask what was the brand . We loved it and it had perfect living space and amazing views… we never turned the TV on! Easy water access, what else do you need. We can’t wait to return and hopefully rent the same place! Fingers crossed

We invited our parents to stay to celebrate Father’s Day and this home was perfect. Excellent location just around the bend from the marina where we dry dock our boat, beautiful home and setting on the water with amazing sunsets. All the details are covered from the fully stocked kitchen to the kayaks and paddle boards. Oh, and a little friendly competition at the putting green. We can’t wait to come back.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house is situated on a beautiful waterway with a large deck overlooking the water. We came to California to tour the area but we found ourselves wanting to stay put as the accommodations were so nice. The house is beautifully appointed with everything you need and also very clean and comfortable. The property owner Peter was wonderful to deal with, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Peter!!

This home was perfect for our stay in CA. We were visiting family in nearby Brentwood and this location was only a 15 min drive. It also was convenient to do day trips to San Francisco and San Jose. In addition, the amenities at the home were a great break from going anywhere. Our granddaughters loved the kayaks and paddle boards and we enjoyed just sitting on the deck enjoying the views. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking and serving items needed and although we didn’t use many items available like the grill it was nice to know it was available if needed. The owner Peter was also very nice to work with he called the day before our trip to personally provide checkin instructions and wish us a safe trip from Florida. We will definitely look at this property for future visits.

Nicely updated property that was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect for us to be close to family. Spacious bedrooms and baths. Although the weather didn't cooperate for us to use the outdoor area we could see that there was an expanse deck, amble seating, a beautiful view and a bonus of a putting area. We had access to the garage to park our car which was a plus. I would recommend a stay.

Our week stay at this Discovery Bay home was awesome. It is great to arrive and have the place exceed your expectations which this did. The home is well appointed inside and out and very clean, the location is terrific for outdoor activities, and the host Peter is great to work with including excellent communication. By far one of the best vacation rental experiences we have had. Thank you.

Wife, adult daughters and I spent a long weekend, attending a wedding at DB Country Club. Amazing place. Perfect for four. Remarkably clean and tidy! We felt like we were staying at a friend's place. Hospitality was resort standard - cold water bottles in the fridge, coffee pods next to the maker. Could have cooked anything: pots, pans, staples, and spices were there ready. Sun angle in late September helped keep the home cool while enjoying the view of the bay. Girls explored a bit on paddle boards. The home helped us relax over a very busy weekend and really enjoy DB in full. Delightful in every way and our host made it perfect!

Understated and over delivered! The actual property and amenities are better than advertised. Turn key is too light of a term to use. If you enjoy a gorgeous water setting, you’ll be very pleased. Everything you would want or need is supplied. Peter the host is communicative, supportive and enthusiastic in order to ensure your happiness. The only 3 I could give has nothing to do with the property per se, but the immediate neighborhood. The other folks should follow in Peter’s example of upkeep! We shall return!! Not what you think…
Owner required a rental app, w/ pics of DL of my husband and I. Although on Discovery Bay w/ beautiful deck seating, dock for our boat, and water toys (kayak, canoes and paddle boat), the interior of the home was not as expected. The home is currently occupied by owner (w/ clothes in closets, food in refrigerator, etc.). Cabinets were dirty inside, along w/ refrigerator. We needed freezer space and it was full w/ owner food. Linen’s didn’t smell freshly cleaned and I had to request additional cleaning from owner who had a challenge w/ my request but did send the team. It wasn’t what I thought, and probably won’t rent again.

My cousin & I were traveling to Northern California for a family celebration. When searching for a place near Antioch, I came across Peter’s Discovery Bay home which turned out to be the perfect home away from home! If you’re looking for a place with all the comforts of home that doesn’t feel like a sterile hotel, this is it! It is exactly as pictured and the location right on the water can’t be beat! Will definitely find an excuse to come back up and stay here again.
