Very clean and comfortable

A lovely cottage in Dartmoor, very peaceful and quiet. All the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and even a surprise welcome gift from the owner. The garden was spacious enough for our dog to go on a little night walk before bed. The TV in the living room had good options including Netflix, and a wood burner which we didn't use – but would have used if it was winter. All in all a very pleasant stay.
It was a little too pricey for 3 people – would have been more affordable if it was for 6.

The property was excellently located for town-hopping in South Devon as well as for local walking. It was well decorated, comfortable, and very very clean. It also had beautiful gardens which in the Summer months would be a lovely place to sit out.
I felt that considering the expensive price of the property it was missing a few basic amenities. For instance, there were no boxes of tissues anywhere in the property so we had to purchase our own. The bathrooms were stocked with shower gel, but no shampoo or conditioner. We were only given one house key, despite being two couples, so if we had wanted to spend our days separately it would have been quite tricky to organise and make sure none got locked outside. Finally, we had to strip the beds and empty all the bins ourselves upon departure which felt a little extreme to me (compared to in other places I’ve stayed where I would do the dishes and leave the place clean and tidy but not strip the bedding).

Fabulous accommodation, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Rob and Allison catered for every need. Lovely gesture welcome hamper - prosecco, crisps, shortbread biscuits and milk.Rob met us on arrival and departure to ensure we had everything we needed.

Very clean and modern but still a bit of character of the old coach house.

House was beautifully modern and clean. loads of space with different areas (inside and out) to relax and congregate. Heaps of space, and very comfortable level of privacy in the rooms. Fully stocked kitchen, towels, hairdryer etc. Stayed for 2 nights, a week+ would have been easy and enjoyable.
In the kitchen it would have been great to have some basic cooking ingredients - oil, salt and pepper. This made our first meal cooked there a little challenging.

Excellent venue with all amenities to hand. We were looked after exceedingly well by our hosts. The house was spotlessly clean. A beautiful and tastefully restored coach house and a lovely place to stay.

The property was immaculately clean and well presented. The host was welcoming and the location was great.
There is no view from the downstairs windows and, as the house is surrounded by trees, not much of a view from upstairs.

Very Roomy and comfy cottage. Well kitted out. Friendly and helpful hosts.
Owner's Garden makeover with a pond a bit underminded the rural feel of the cottage.
Sitting room looked at the wall of the neighbours house rather than across the garden. If trapped in the cottage on a rainy day (not unknown in these parts!) this would be irritating.
Quite expensive but that may reflect local prices.
