Great location with great view…

Perfect rental for our family of 4. Nice quiet weekend getaway. Close to Lake Gregory fir the kids to have fun

The deck is very nice and a great view. The windows make sitting in the kitchen and living room very pleasant.

My husband and I savored the quiet and peace of this tasteful update of a rustic A frame cabin. The best features are the light streaming through the vaulted windows and the openness of the living area to the generous deck. The kitchen is nicely laid out and decently stocked. Bathrooms thoughtfully remodeled. Although the main floor ceiling is arched, a cross breeze runs from front screen door to deck screen doors and the ac units provided by the host allowed for cool bedrooms during a heat wave. Like that living room chairs can be moved around to suit your activity. Only three downsides: the mattresses are extremely firm, expensive seagrass on stairs and lower level impractically suited for mtn life and you only get a rare glimpse of lake walking in area. Since only two of us, we didn't use downstairs. With more people, you need to be very wet and dirt aware when using downstairs. Plus side: it is only a short drive or 1.3 mile downhill stroll to Lake Gregory which is the only lake there that has a walking path around it. Many people shore fishing. Nice grocery market in Crestline as well as a few eateries and stores. Neighbors friendly.

we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful and secluded which is what we wanted. The AC is not central but the top floor has 2 portable ACs. You can walk to Lake Gregory in 15 minutes which was great. Arrowhead village is a 20 minute drive so easy enough. Parking was not fun. We had to parallel park in front of the garage door for some reason...not the best with a huge SUV. Overall we came back relaxed so I would recommend this place.

As you can see from the pictures of the property it is very picturesque. The cabin is on a secluded road in a quiet neighborhood so it makes for a great escape for those seeking rest and relaxation. The property allows for scenic mountain views and privacy. I visited during the tail end of the summer. Heat naturally rises so the upstairs fell a bit warm but given the expansive deck on both floors it was easy to remain cool outside to enjoy the view. The portable AC in the room made night time temperatures pleasant. Lake Gregory is a short drive away (I recommend driving instead of hiking because there are no sidewalks and people drive fairly fast on the windy roads) and gives you plenty of options for outdoor fun. The grocery store is right across the lake so it makes it convenient to pack light and be able to purchase what is necessary once you are in town. Things to be mindful of when renting this property: -You will have to remove your trash and recyclables when you exit the property. It's location is in the woods where all kinds of creatures can make a mess so be a good guest and drive it to the local disposal site. -Remove shoes when entering property to avoid damaging the wood floors. -It's a quiet neighborhood, don't spoil the vibe with loud music or an obnoxious guest/partner/child

What a gorgeous place and peaceful time! Two friends and I spent the weekend here and it was absolutely lovely. The windows And deck in the afternoon and evening are spectacular and the downstairs is comfortable and cool during the day. I would love to come back another weekend and can only imagine how beautiful it is during the winter too.
